Next up is a tricky looking tie against the Adelaide Strikers, a team that have plenty of quality performers on their roster and who have a habit of producing big results in Big Bash cricket. 

For the Sydney Sixers, playing at home will be a significant advantage and they will be up for this from the outset and whilst the Adelaide Strikers are a good side, the Sydney Sixers look good value to come out on top here.

Two sides without a win in BBL 13 will be looking to turn things around in this one, as Melbourne Stars take on the Sydney Thunder out at Lavington. 

Problems have been mounting in the Big Bash for the Melbourne Stars over the past few seasons and they have their work cut out already to reach the playoffs in BBL 13. 

For Sydney Thunder meanwhile, this game is a chance to get back on track following a disappointing start to the season and they know a poor result here would ramp up the pressure. 

Plenty of betting sites are finding this one tough to call but Sydney Thunder should just about edge it.
