While I wouldn’t personally be labelling BoomBet as a household name just yet, their founding company has been around since the late 90s and with that comes vast experience in the Australian betting industry.

For starters, I have found that the BoomBet sign-up process is quite a streamlined and simple one! The whole onboarding process should only take a couple of minutes and everything is clearly explained in terms of what you need to do as a user who is signing up.

Well, in my experience I have found the website to be quite an impressive one! I have found that the BoomBet site is easy to navigate through and loading times are quick, and in addition to this, I have also rarely experienced the website lagging or crashing.

And in a similar fashion, I believe the BoomBet app is also a great offering that this bookie has! Just like the website, the BoomBet app is easy to navigate through and, in my view, the user interface and experience are at quite a high level. You are greeted with a similar homepage on the app, albeit on a smaller scale to cater for the smaller screens of mobile devices.

All in all, I think both the website and the Boombet app are at quite a high standard, and I believe this is an increasingly important offering to have down pact considering many rival bookies out there are striving to provide users with a good platform experience.

Moving on, in terms of sports coverage, I would say that BoomBet can be considered good but not amazing in this regard. I mean they have the basics covered with different betting markets for the most common Australian and International sports, such as the AFL, NRL and EPL, however, where I feel they fall short is in their offering of unique sports and advanced features. At the time of writing, BoomBet was missing fairly common betting features such as a cash-out option, and as well as this, they lack markets pertaining to some of the more niche sports and competitions out there. 

And with this in mind, it led me to uncover that BoomBet seems to be more focused on its racing offering. I have found that BoomBet features an excellent range of bet types for racing, and as well as this, they provide users with detailed knowledge when it comes to runners that are racing in different events. So, all things considered, while this might not be the best bookie in terms of their sports offering, BoomBet have certainly done well in terms of their racing section of the platform!

Lastly, I feel it necessary to mention some of the key drawbacks I have come across when undertaking this BoomBet review. Unfortunately, BoomBet is without any live streaming or live betting services, and while I don’t think this is a dealbreaker for all punters out there, it is nonetheless a key absence from the overall BoomBet offering. • No Live Betting: At the time of writing, BoomBet does not offer a live betting service. In an  Aussie betting environment where punters are increasingly fascinated by the concept of live betting, it is, unfortunately, a notable drawback against the overall BoomBet offering.
• No Live Streaming: Unfortunately, BoomBet Australia is without a live streaming offering. This is a drawback to their overall offering considering it is something that some of their key competitors currently feature across their platforms, and as well as this, punters are increasingly interested in a bookie providing a service like this.

I have found that BoomBet offers virtually all the most popular sports out there, whether they are Aussie-based or international-based. These sports include Aussie staples like Aussie Rules footy and Rugby League, as well as the more internationally covered sports like soccer and basketball, for example. 

What I have noticed is that while the competitions and leagues on offer in these sports are pretty exhaustive, unfortunately, the range and extensiveness of markets available are not at the same level. For instance, while there are plenty of different soccer leagues available to punt on with BoomBet, the number of markets for each league varies as we see a comp like the EPL with plenty of markets while a competition like Belgium Pro League is with much less.
Overall, I believe that Boombet has a decent offering in this space, but there is certainly room for improvement. The addition of some of the more niche sports out there, as well as the inclusion of more markets for some of the less popular leagues and competitions out there, could go a long way to ensuring BoomBet have a top offering in this space!

I have found that the racing coverage with Boombet is more than decent and if you want to locate this on their platform then simply head to the top right-hand corner on their website or to the bottom left-hand corner of the BoomBet app.

As you can see in the screenshot below, there will be a variety of different races you will be able to punt on, so ultimately, it will be up to you to find the event you are interested in, albeit an Australian or an International one!

As you can see in the screenshot below, there are a few different types of bets that punters can explore when betting on racing with BoomBet. This is in contrast to most bookies out there and I personally think that this subtle point of difference is a positive one!
