Horse Racing Tips
All to play for at Randwick once again this Saturday.

With the Autumn Carnival at Randwick coming to an end, there should be plenty of drama on the agenda for both punters and horse racing betting sites this weekend

Randwick is the place to be once again on Saturday, with a bumper 10-race card in the offing.

Race 4

The quality of the race day at Randwick this weekend is perhaps most evident in the field for the Group 3 contests and race 4 should be an absolute whopper. The Frank Packer Plate has a healthy A$250k prize pool and some of the biggest owners and trainers in the land are represented here, making this a huge contest in the eyes of many punters and Aussie bookmakers

Frank Packer Plate

With so many quality horses, owners and trainers in the mix up here, this should be a superb contest in race 4, with everybody keen to get their hands on the Frank Packer Plate.

Randwick always provides a stern test for every horse and the 2000m trip will certainly cut the wheat from the chaff, which should make for compelling viewing from the outset.

Topping the betting is Tannhauser, another flyer off the Chris Waller conveyor belt but the lack of wins in its career so far are the obvious concern. With just one triumph from 10 outings, Tannhauser doesn’t look to have the credentials of some Waller horses, but it still is only 3 years old.

Tannhauser is the market leader here and it will be fascinating to see how it goes at $3.10 with Playup

Kiwi flyer Saltcoats is up next in the betting, and it is another originating from Chris Waller’s ever-expanding and improving yard. Saltcoats has a similar win record to Tannhauser but with James McDonald opting to board Tannhauser, most betting sites look to have taken a read off that. Saltcoats certainly looks worth a shot here and it could challenge from the outset at $4.80 with Bet365

Genuine hopes line up in behind, with Kintyre and Gold Bullion both making serious claims over this trip at Randwick. This should be a very open contest which both horses should enjoy, and they both look worth a punt at $4.80 and $12.00 respectively with Punterspal.

Race 7

The Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes is the 7th offering of the day at Randwick and it is a contest that always gets the juices flowing for punters and with both old and new betting sites alike. With A$1 million in the prize pool, there is plenty for owners and trainers to get excited about and this should be a thrilling contest.

Group 1 wins always seem to matter more to connections, and this should be another fast and furious contest with all punters and Aussie bookmakers with so much quality in the field.

There are plenty of horses who make strong claims here in this 8-race contest and it is Manaal that looks to be the favourite. A speedster from the Freedman yard, Manaal will need to adapt to the 1600m trip here at Randwick, but it is a seriously quick horse that does feel like the obvious winner here. Manaal will need to be at its best to see off stiff competition here and it is the horse to beat in the eyes of many here at $2.30 with Punterspal.

The congested betting market is epitomised by Kiwi flyer Linebacker up next in the betting, a horse that possesses a 100% career win record. Inevitably, previous triumphs haven’t had the grandeur of this race but Linebacker is in the winning mood and it could be the one to watch here at $2.70 with Playup

High quality horses line up in pursuit in this one, as Broadsiding and Anode will both feel like they have what it takes to get the job done too. With only 8 horses in the race, they will all believe that they are in with a shout, and they look to be worth backing here at $6.50 and $7.00 respectively here with Bet365

Race 8

The headline act of the day in terms of prize money is the All Aged Stakes, with A$1.5 million in a very healthy looking prize pool. With so much money up for grabs, every horse in the race will fully believe that they have what it takes to get over the line in this one and pick up a Group 1 triumph.

Schweppes All Aged Stakes

The amount of money up for grabs here is always going to attract the attention of the biggest names in Australian horse racing and the All Aged Stakes is often an intriguing contest, with every horse eligible for entry.

Topping the betting in what looks to be one of the most open contests in years is Espiona, a horse that hasn’t bagged too many wins of late for Chris Waller but who remains a very real prospect in every race it enters. Recent form may not be pulling up any trees, but Espiona should be well in the mix from the outset here and it looks to be worth a shout at $3.80 with Bet365

They are lining up in behind to challenge and Sunshine in Paris looks to be the pick of the bunch for Annabel Neasham. Timing is everything in races such as these and with Sunshine In Paris in good form, this could be another race win to add to the ever growing collection at a very healthy $4.60 with Playup

Seriously good horses line up in behind too, with Southport Tycoon and Private Eye both well accustomed to competing at this level and both horses have more than an outside shot at $6.00 and $8.50 respectively with Punterspal.
