It is crunch time for many sides in BBL 13.

Who will finish in the top 4 league spots in BBL 13?

News Insights

  • The biggest and best franchises in BBL 13 are jostling for position.
  • Defending champions Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat lead the way.
  • Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars currently have their playoff hopes in their own hands.
  • Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes hoping to force their way into the playoff mix.

Despite having to battle for air time alongside another successful summer for the Australian Test team, BBL 13 has been another triumph within Australian cricket.

Seeing the world’s best go at it is always a big draw with punters and online betting sites and it promises to be a fascinating end to the competition.

Unstoppable Scorchers and Heat

Having lifted the Big Bash trophy in the past two seasons, the Perth Scorchers remain the side to beat in the competition.

With the likes of Zak Crawley, Aaron Hardie and Ashton Agar in their ranks, their strength in depth has been key to their success in recent seasons.

Meanwhile, the Brisbane Heat have made light work of the league stage, and they too should be full of confidence going down the home stretch, with both Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne in their ranks for the playoffs.

Within reach for the Sixers and the Stars

Two sides that have recovered from underwhelming starts to the season now find themselves in playoff contention.

The Sydney Sixers have an impressive playing roster, and their recent showings will give them plenty of confidence, should they remain in 3rd place in the table and make the playoffs.

A similar story can be told about the Melbourne Stars, who looked abject in their first few games, before recovering superbly and with the likes of Glenn Maxwell in their squad, they will believe anything is possible.

Who else could break the top 4?

As the business end of BBL 13 approaches, the race to finish inside the top 4 is very much on with both punters and betting sites alike.

Sat in 5th place, the Adelaide Strikers look the most likely to break into the picture, with top run scorer Matt Short continuing to lead his side with aplomb.

Meanwhile, the Hobart Hurricanes are still mathematically in with a shot of finishing inside the top 4 but they would need to win both of their final league games by a handsome margin to be in contention.

With just a handful of regular season games remaining, the race to finish inside the top 4 in BBL 13 is hotting up and it promises to be an enthralling end to the campaign.
