Bournemouth should pose a really good challenge for the league-leading Liverpool this weekend, but few teams have proven able to keep Mohamad Salah off the scoresheet all season. Leading the league with 19 goals from just 23 games, the Egyptian has failed to score in just six matches all season, scoring in a ridiculous 74% of his games. But at some international betting sites like Bet365, he is paying up to $2.20 to score in this one – suggesting he is comfortably less than a 50% chance of scoring, which looks like clear overs.

Monday 3rd of February, 1.00am AEDT, GTech Community Stadium

Tottenham has conceded multiple goals in its last five EPL games, so win, lose or draw, there is a good chance Brentford will find the back of the net at least once or twice in this one. There is no player more likely to do that than Bryan Mbeumo. The Cameroonian is fourth in the league in scoring and has hit the scoreboard in five of his last nine games, but most betting sites have him at well over even money to do it again in what should be a high-scoring game. That sounds like pretty good value to me.

Ipswich Town have a grim 12-1 aggregate in their last three games, but it has been a tough stretch against Liverpool, Man City and Brighton. Prior to that they actually had a couple of good games, drawing with Fulham and beating Chelsea, and they should be able to arrest their losing skid against the worst team in the league by a long way in Southampton this weekend. Southampton’s results speak for themselves – they’ve lost nine in a row, so while Ipswich Town might be the second worst team at the top level, they’re value this weekend.
