The horse to beat in this one looks to be Mollynickers, a horse that has endured plenty of near misses in recent months but who does know how to win races and who comes from serious stock.

Certainly and Vivy Air are two horses that could push Mollynickers all the way in the eyes of many punters and Aussie bookmakers but she looks primed and ready for this one and she should have too much for the chasing pack over 1600m.

Following Group 1 disappointment last time out, Imperatriz has been brought back to his home track, in the hope of building some confidence back up again.

The Group 1 William Reed Stakes should provide the perfect back drop for Imperatriz and over 1200m, there are very few horses around that can compete with him.

Bella Nipotina is always worth a look in the betting, a horse with serious speed and guile but Imperatriz is the hot favourite for this one and he will wake some stopping.

Kiwi flyer Marquess will be the one to catch in the opener, Mollynickers needs a win in race 6, whilst the imperious Imperatriz will be seeking more Group 1 glory in the William Reed Stakes in race 8.
