From my point of view, the pros certainly outweigh the cons, making Colossalbet one of the best betting sites in Australia. They are popular right around the country, but I would say New South Wales and Victoria are the two states where Colossalbet is the most popular, so it’s not surprising to see that they are one of the top Victorian betting sites going around.

While they don’t have as many promotions as the major players in the market, they do have a decent enough range for the average Joe punter and I love how much work they’ve put into their racing product, with heaps of form and insights available. Their range of markets is great as well, offering the opportunity to bet on some of the more obscure leagues in sports.

As soon as I was on the Colossalbet website, I was completely inundated with features! Colossal Bet Australia is filled to the brim and it took me some time to analyse all the features and pick the four that I believe will have the most influence on potential punters. This is probably my favourite feature available with Colossalbet. Colossalbet IQ offers personalised tips that are based on your betting history. It’s a very intuitive feature and if you’re the kind of punter who is looking for a little bit of guidance, Colossalbet IQ will certainly come in handy.

When conducting my Colossal Bet review, I came across Colossalbet’s blog. I’ve only ever seen some of the bigger bookies offering a blog and most of the time it isn’t that crash-hot. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the Colossalbet blog. They offer some great up-to-date information on the latest racing and sports events.

They are clearly pretty chuffed with their blog as well because it is featured in their sidebar menu, making it easily accessible to all. It looks as though the racing section of their blog is a bit more up-to-date and you can read previews and more for all the major upcoming races.

If you’re looking for more value for your bet, the price pump feature from Colossalbet should certainly do the trick. With the price pump, you can increase your odds if the market you are betting on is available for this feature. Once you’ve added the bet to your betslip, the price pump button may be displayed, to activate it, all you have to do is click on it.

Price pumps are available across all fixed odds racing and sports singles markets, so you have plenty of options to choose from. They are also looking to extend this feature to across both exotic and multi bets soon as well.

Racing Insights and Form

The racing insights and form available across all three racing codes is certainly among the best in the industry. You can view racing tips, fluctuations and speed maps, but the area they excel the most is the racing form guide.

The form guide is available for every runner in each race and you get details like runner comments, gear changes, win and place percentage, career record, recent results and more. All this information helps Colossalbet become a one-stop shop for everything racing.

Leading in perfectly from the final feature I touched on in the previous section, I wanted to talk more about the racing offering available at Colossalbet! If you are a racing-focused bettor, Colossalbet ticks a lot of boxes and you’ll find value in several areas.

Another area that Colossalbet excels in is their futures markets as not all other bookies will offer futures for racing events.

Looking at the range of markets now, Colossalbet has markets across all three racing codes for both domestic and international events. They offer the typical markets you’ll find across all bookies in Australia plus others like Jockey’s Challenge, for example.

When it comes to their odds, as I have previously mentioned they are fairly decent, so it certainly pays to check out Colossalbet. Their fixed odds are usually on par with the biggest bookies in the market, or even slightly better. I’ll talk more about this later on in my review.

Colossalbet also offers a solid range of promotions for their racing bettors. The price pump, in particular, is a good way to get more bang for your buck and is available for fixed odds markets. Live streaming might not be available at Colossalbet, but I would say that is the only thing truly lacking and it isn’t even a make-or-break feature. There is a lot to love when it comes to Colossalbet’s racing offering, so do yourself a favour and check them out, if you haven’t already.

Colossalbet Sports Offering

Turning our attention to Colossalbet’s sports offering, there is a lot to like here as well. All the biggest upcoming sports are featured near the top of the home screen, making it very easy to find what you are looking for.

If you flick across from racing to sports, you’ll see all the upcoming events, or you can switch to search through all the sports that are currently available. Also, if there are any live sports, you can see those markets as well. Not all bookies offer live betting, so this is a great addition to Colossalbet.

If you’re into your multis, then you’ll enjoy the multi builder section which enables you to easily place a multi across different sports and markets. Add legs to your multi then you can open up your betslip, which will be displayed on the right-hand side and you can easily add your stake and confirm your bet.

The range of sports and available markets is on par with some of the biggest names in the industry. On top of this, they are usually pretty quick to release their markets. For example, I found their AFL markets live earlier than some of the others in the industry. 

So, if you want to get your AFL bets sorted sooner you can. When you couple this with the fact that Colossalbet’s AFL odds are decent as well, they have to be considered one of the best AFL betting sites in Australia. This is also the case for NRL as well, so if you’re looking for one of the top NRL betting sites, Colossalbet has to be considered.

Looking at other markets now, you’ll find heaps of options for sports like tennis and esports. So, if you’re into some of the less popular sports, Colossalbet has you covered. I would consider them one of the best tennis betting sites and esports betting sites due to their range of leagues available to bet on.

Promotions like price pump and more are also available for sports, meaning it’s easy to get more bang for your buck. I’ll discuss this in more detail later on in this review, but Colossalbet’s sports odds are mostly on level with what other bookies are offering.

Overall, I think there’s a lot to like in terms of Colossalbet’s sports offering. There is still room for improvement though, for example, if they were to add tips and/ or insights like NBA tips, EPL tips, AFL tips and NRL tips, this would really help take them to another level.

As promised, I’m here to talk more about the odds available with Colossalbet! I view the odds each bookmaker provides as one of, if not, the most important aspect. The odds present how much value you are getting for the bets you are placing. 

So, if you are consistently getting lower odds with a particular bookmaker, there isn’t really any point in betting with them. While you may not think a small difference in the odds isn’t that important, in the long run, it can be quite impactful, especially if you are a regular bettor, because it can all add up.

While you can usually get decent odds with Colossalbet, don’t forget to shop around with other bookies as well because most of the time they have different odds for the same market and you could easily find a little bit more value. Live betting is becoming quite popular and in the past, we haven’t seen many Aussie bookies offering this feature. However, as the popularity of live betting has grown, more and more bookies are jumping on board and offering it. You’ll see on Colossalbet that live betting markets are only available for sports-related events. This is because of Australian legislation that requires bettors to call bookmarkers to place their live bets. Finding a bookie with one of the best betting apps can be a little tricky because everyone is looking for something slightly different. For the most part, Colossalbet ticks all the boxes. The Colossalbet app is easy to navigate and it offers all the same features you’d find on the website.

One thing I will note, however, is that it’s lucky I have an iPhone because if I had an Android, I wouldn’t be able to test out the app when putting together this Colossal Bet review! I was looking around on the Google Play Store for information about the app and couldn’t find anything. I ended up getting in touch with the customer support team to see what was going on.

You can read some of the conversation below that I took a screenshot of, but basically, there were major issues with the Android app which resulted in Colossalbet pulling the app from the store while they fixed it. Not a good sign if you ask me! From my experience with the iOS app though, everything was working as it should.

The iOS app was loading fast and certainly met all my expectations. If you want a slick and enjoyable betting experience, this app ticks all the boxes. Hopefully, the issue with the Android app issue was just a once-off issue and all those Android users can download the app soon.
