Are you wondering whether Betfocus is a bookie worth using? Well, if you want my opinion I would say absolutely! Whether it be because of their daily specials, their rapid withdrawals times or one of many other reasons, I think Betfocus definitely has a place in the Aussie betting industry.

Right off the bat, I have found that Betfocus has a particular focus on the racing side of things and I see no problems with that. However, I am certainly not too fixated on this as I know Betfocus are a much newer bookie and with that I am very curious and optimistic to see how they grow in the industry as the months and years go by (they might even become one of the many international betting sites)!

First off, I have found that navigating to an actual race on the Betfocus app or website is a breeze! The moment you enter the Betfocus app or website, you are greeted with a homepage that makes it very easy to explore the ‘Next to Jump’ races, and alternatively, users can navigate to the more specific ‘Racing’ section of the Betfocus app or desktop site to explore all races in more detail.

Once you have found the race you are keen to punt on, you will then be greeted with the Betfocus racing page for that event, like you can see in the image below.

What about the odds, you ask? Well, fair question! I have personally found that Betfocus offer some value odds when it comes to their racing betting, and while I wouldn’t class them as an industry leader in this regard, I nonetheless think they are doing a more than solid job! So, in wrapping up this part of my Betfocus review, I think Betfocus are doing a great job in terms of their racing offering, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves further as this bookie gets even more experience under their belt!

Switching over from the Betfocus racing scene to the sports side of things, I will start by saying I feel Betfocus have an alright offering in this space, however, there is definitely room for improvement! It seems as though they have focused more on racing to start with and are now slowly building up their sports offering.

Using Betfocus's app or website to bet on sports is very easy and while they don't have every market under the sun, they do have a solid range. They cover all the main sports and you can see the upcoming events on the homepage.

They even have a "Featured Sports" section that displays some of the biggest games that are happening soon. They don't offer live streaming or live betting (which I'll talk about in a second) but this isn't necessarily a dealbreaker.

If you are the kind of person who likes to stick with the basics, like betting on the main sports and main markets, then Betfocus is certainly a viable option for you. Their sports offering is enticing enough and they do offer some decent sports-related promotions as well.

Odds are one of the most important aspects when it comes to betting. If you’re looking for simple markets, like head-to-head (in sports) or win bet (in racing), then I would say Betfocus is a decent option for odds. They will usually at least offer the market average. For the more obscure options, you might be better off exploring your options. However, you never know when you’ll find a little nugget of gold.

Overall, for the average punter, you’ll find that Betfocus has good odds. They may have a ways to go to be considered an industry leader, but they are certainly not the worst in the market. No matter what, I always think it’s a good idea to perform an odds comparison (if you have the time) as that is the easiest way to get more bang for your buck.

If you are looking for one of the best AFL betting sites or tennis betting sites, for example, you have to check out Betfocus.

In taking an even deeper dive, I have found that the Betfocus range of markets within these sports and competitions is decent. This has recently been further advanced by the fact that same game multi betting is on offer! 

I think the biggest room for improvement for Betfocus is within sports. While I would love to see Betfocus grow in this regard, I nevertheless think they have made quite a decent start for such a newcomer to the betting game. From NRL betting sites to NBA betting sites, Betfocus is starting to make waves to become among the best.

Generally speaking, Betfocus also doesn’t offer live betting (I’ll talk more about this in the next section) or live streaming. This shouldn’t really be considered a dealbreaker, but it is certainly nice to have and something that they should consider as they become a bigger name in the bookmaker industry.

I touched on this in the section above, but I think it’s important enough to warrant its own section. Live betting is a feature that allows you to place a bet while the game or race is happening, rather than before the event. At this time, Betfocus doesn’t currently offer live betting as a part of its services. 

Live betting is a feature I would place in the “nice to have” column. While it won’t dictate whether I’ll sign up with a bookie or not, it is still something to consider. It can be most useful when it comes to sport, as there is more time within the game and you can look for potential patterns to get ahead of the pack and score yourself a high-value bet with great odds. 

If you want to live bet on racing, you’ll have to be pretty quick as things change very fast and the race itself can be over in a matter of seconds. Some bookies do offer odds for races after they have started, but it is still fairly rare.

When it comes to betting sites with bonuses, I would put Betfocus in the middle of the pack. A lot of betting sites tend to copy others and offer a similar range of promotions. Betfocus isn’t industry-leading in this area, but their bonuses are good enough to check out.

I must note here that to view these specific Betfocus promotions and specials, you are required to have an active Betfocus account. Once you have logged in to your account, you’ll have access to all the promotions available.

Betfocus Payment Methods

If you’re betting with a bookie, the ultimate goal is to have something to withdraw! As Betfocus is a fairly new player in the market, I have to say their withdrawal options are limited. However, something that helps them stand out from all the other newer bookies is their fast withdrawals.

At Betfocus, it’s pretty clear they are putting the customer first and have a variety of methods that you can utilise to get in touch with the team. This includes a live chat function or email support. Their customer support team is available seven days a week from 9am to 9:30pm.

I am happy they have live chat as an option as I believe this is the easiest and quickest way to get any issues or questions resolved. When I have used Betfocus’s live chat function in the past, I have found their response time to be super quick and also quite helpful.

This is important to see as I feel this is a vital aspect of good customer service! While it is certainly a shame to see that Betfocus do not currently offer any kind of phone support, I really don’t think this is such a big issue given the efficiency of their live chat.

So, overall, I think the customer support offering is more than sufficient with Betfocus and I hope that they maintain the same standard in the future as it can only be seen as a good thing. They could improve by adding a phone line for customer support, but the actual assistance you get from the team when contacting them is great.
