Bet777 has certainly not revolutionised the betting world, but that’s not what they are trying to do. What they are trying to do is offer another bookie which makes it easy for you to punt on your favourite sports and racing, and they do exactly that. There are no doubt areas they can improve, and if you’re a racing bettor in particular you might be a little turned off by the odds there, but in terms of sports betting this is one of the better new bookies going around.

Bet777 opened its doors in the second half of 2024, with owner Gary Fitzpatrick adding to his growing portfolio of betting sites which also includes BetProfessor and WellBet. He, like many others joining the betting industry, appears to like the BetCloud platform, opting to use it for Bet777 as well as those other two. 

Though it bears plenty of similarities to other new betting sites, Bet777 stands out with a casino-esque purple and gold aesthetic, and will appeal particularly to sports bettors courtesy of its above average odds for the most popular leagues. 

Based in Victoria, they are fast becoming one of the best Victorian betting sites in the state. Of course, there are plenty of areas this bookie could improve as well. In this detailed Bet777 review we take a look at all the details that you need to know about them, both good and bad.

Bet777 was founded in 2024 by experienced betting site owner Gary Fitzpatrick, with its stylish aesthetic bringing the casino directly to you. The bright colour scheme is the first thing you’ll notice about this new bookie, which utilises the popular BetCloud platform – with a purple and gold background and the words BET777 plastered over a slot machine, this site mimics all the glitz and the glamour of the casino.

But of course, it’s not a casino, it’s a betting site, and rather than picking between roulette and poker, you’ll be scouring a range of sports and racing markets. And that range is pretty damn good – Bet777 has a massive range of different sports markets available in particular, meaning sports punters will have no shortage of options to punt on.

What’s more, the odds for these sports markets are really competitive, and not just for a new betting site. They are a hell of a lot better than some other new bookies, but the sports odds at Bet777 are competitive with some of the far more established titans of the industry, too. Whether you’re a line bettor or looking for value in something like player props, you’ll be satisfied with the odds on offer.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the racing odds. These are subpar relative to other bookies, so if you’re really after the best value you can find then the sports section of this site will certainly appeal to you a little more. I would recommend looking at international betting sites, as they usually have competitive racing odds.

Bet777 also has a high quality mobile app, one which I personally would prefer to use over the desktop site. That’s certainly nothing against the desktop site – it uses the same platform as plenty of other bookies so navigating it is a very familiar process – but the app is really efficient and speedy to use, and allows you to easily bet on the go.

If you run into trouble with Bet777, you’ll have a solid customer support platform with a couple of contact options to use, with live chat and email your choices. And as for the payment platform, like much of Bet777, things are kept pretty simple here, with just debit/credit card and bank transfer available.

Overall, Bet777 Australia is a relatively standard small betting site, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Bet777 Strengths

• Above average sports odds: A lot of new betting sites offer pretty average odds, but at least from a sporting perspective, Bet777 isn’t one of them. They have really competitive odds for both your standard markets and player props.

• Below average racing odds: While Bet777 has really competitive odds for sports, unfortunately the same cannot be said for racing. Their odds here are pretty poor, well below the industry average.
• No live streaming: Like most new betting sites, Bet777 does not currently offer live streaming, so if you want to tune into a race or sporting event directly on your betting app or desktop site, you might need to log in to one of the bigger bookies.
• No phone number for customer support: Bet777 has a pretty decent customer support platform, offering live chat and an email address, but they could improve it further by adding a phone number.

My major takeaway from the above list of pros and cons is that Bet777 is a really good option for sports bettors, and not quite so good for racing tipsters. Of course, there is more to a betting site than its odds and the app and aesthetic also add to Bet777’s appeal, while they do have a couple of other areas in which they could improve.

There are a lot of features that you’ll find at Bet777. While I could go on and on about all the features available, I’ve found a couple in particular that are worthy of a mention. Keep reading as we take a look at a couple of the features that help to give them a little point of difference from other bookies.

Mystery Bet

You will find mystery bets at a lot of bigger betting sites, but most of the smaller or new ones do not offer them. Bet777 bucks that trend, enabling their customers to put their fate in the hands of technology with randomly selected runners.

This is available for thoroughbreds, harness and greyhounds with Bet777. Essentially, when placing a mystery bet you will choose what kind of bet you want to place – win, place or an exotic like quinella or trifecta – and then choose how many runners you want to bet on. 

Once you do this, the Bet777 computer will randomly select runners for you. If you’re an out and out pro this probably won’t appeal to you, but for those just having a little dabble for fun, which will be a large proportion of the Bet777 clientele, this can be a novel way to place a bet.

Futures Bets Available

Okay, so offering futures bets is not exactly groundbreaking. But these are a noticeable absence from many new betting sites, whose selection of sports markets sticks purely to individual games. So, I thought it would be worthwhile including it in this section.

Bet777 might not be standing out from the entire betting industry by offering futures bets, but they are standing out from their array of fellow new betting sites using the BetCloud platform. These futures bets are available for a really wide range of sports, from the most popular leagues like the NBA through to the PDC Darts World Championship – niche to say the least!

Cash Out

Again, not a completely new and revolutionary feature. However, for a new betting site to provide a cash-out feature, it certainly deserves a mention. You might have seen a cash-out feature being offered by some of the bigger bookies in the industry (but not all of them).

At Bet777, you can cash out of your sports bet early. This is guaranteed cash in your pocket, no matter the outcome of the bet. So, this does mean if your bet ends up winning, you won’t receive the original payout. The cash-out feature is a great addition, especially if you aren’t 100% sure that your bet will be successful.

Bet777 Racing Offering

Bet777 offers all the key basics when it comes to racing. The first thing you’ll notice on their home page is the amount of real estate taken up by racing-related events. You’ll see three of the upcoming races and the odds of the top runners in the market. 

Underneath that, a “Featured Race” is displayed, making it easy to jump on, which is a great addition, especially if you’re the kind of punter who tends to leave things to the last minute. Bet777 provides markets for all three racing codes, both domestically and internationally. 

Under the “Featured Race” section, you’ll see all the upcoming races across the three racing codes. Bet777 has a similar range of markets for each event compared to other new betting sites. While this isn’t as extensive as others, it does cover all the main bases.

Another way Bet777 could improve is by adding horse racing tips, even if it’s just a line or two on the top runners. At the moment, they do offer quick insights, which is great for casual punters to make a decision. There also aren’t many form guide details, but they do have the fluctuations of each runner displayed.

When it comes to their racing odds, there is a lot to be desired. I would consider Bet777’s odds below the industry average (but their sports odds are much better). I’ll talk more about their odds later on in this review.

Bet777’s promotions and bonuses are pretty standard across the industry as well. At this stage, they don’t offer any live streaming or live betting. Overall, I would consider Bet777 middle of the range when it comes to racing. They do the basics well, but there is still room for improvement.

Bet777 Sports Offering

I found Bet777's sports offering to be much more competitive, mainly thanks to the great odds available. New betting sites usually struggle with providing competitive odds, but I believe that their sports-related odds are above average (I’ll talk about this more later on).

On the home page, you’ll have to toggle across to see all the upcoming sports events. You can also check the main menu as they display all the popular events there. The format of the page is similar to that of the racing page, so it’s focused on the upcoming events, while also displaying a “Featured Match”.

They might not offer the range of different sports that some of the other more established bookies offer (for example, they aren’t one of the many esports betting sites going around), but the markets available for each event are extensive. If Bet777 covers the event you’re after, you’ll likely be able to find the market you’re looking for.

I would place Bet777 just above average when it comes to the AFL betting sites and tennis betting sites in Australia, due to the range of markets available and the competitive odds. Their promotions for sports events are also quite standard. They don’t do anything unique, but there is still value to be found.

I think there is some room for improvement here and they could benefit from something like adding tips for their events. Covering NRL tips, EPL tips, NBA tips and AFL tips, for example, would add a lot of value to their sports offering.

Bet777 Odds

We touched a little on the odds that you can expect earlier on in this Bet777 Australia, but in this section we will explore a little more deeply what you can expect for both racing and sports with this betting site.

Let’s get the negatives out of the way first. The racing odds are average to say the least. An upcoming race at Ascot in WA, for example, has an odds-on favourite paying anywhere from $1.38 to $1.42 with most major betting sites. It’s at a paltry $1.32 at Bet777. A similar trend continues throughout this race and for most races, with the odds available at Bet777 right down the bottom end of the spectrum.

Fortunately, things are a lot more positive on the sporting side of things. You will find really competitive odds for a range of different markets on major events, with line and over/under bets coming in at an average of anywhere from $1.88 all the way up to $1.90 – the former of which is around industry average, the latter of which is really, really good. 

The same applies for player props. These types of bets can have extremely different odds for the same market at different bookies, so it’s always good to shop around, but generally the player prop odds are really competitive at Bet777. I’ve compared them to the top tier bookies for prop odds, and while Bet777 don’t quite reach those lofty heights, they are not too far off and are certainly a lot better than many competitors.

The difference in odds for sports and racing at Bet777 is a good example of how they can vary significantly not just across different bookmakers, but even across different events on the same bookmaker. If you’re a racing bettor after elite odds then you won’t find them at Bet777, but for those punting primarily on sports, the numbers on offer here will be more than satisfactory.

The sign-up process with Bet777 is as simple as they come and it follows a similar format as a lot of the other new betting sites in Australia. When I signed up, it only took me a couple of minutes before I was able to place my first bet.

To sign up, follow these steps:

1. Head to their site or download their app.
2. Press on the yellow “Sign Up” button (in the top right-hand side corner).
3. Follow the steps as they are displayed, this will include adding your personal information.
4. Before finalising the process, double-check all the details you added are correct.
5. [Optional] Set a deposit limit.

The whole point of betting is to have some winnings to withdraw! The withdrawal process with Bet777 is simple enough, but you’ll have to ensure your account is verified before you can withdraw. Also, any deposited funds are required to be turned over before a withdrawal.

Here are the steps involved with withdrawing from Bet777:

1. Make sure you have logged in and then click on your available balance in the top right-hand corner.
2. A pop-up will be displaced and then click on the “My Account” button.
3. You’ll be taken to a new screen and then find the “Withdraw” option in the inner left-hand side menu.

Now that we have had a look at the kinds of odds that you can expect with Bet777 Australia, let’s take a deep dive into the kinds of markets that you can actually bet on here. By and large they are pretty standard, but there is a better than average selection for sports leagues.

If we take a look at individual games in major leagues like the NBA and NRL, for example, we will find that there are more than 500 different markets available for each game, with the plethora of player props contributing significantly to this number. 

So, if you’re looking for some of the best NBA betting sites or NRL betting sites, Bet777 is worth checking. For smaller leagues, there is unsurprisingly a little less on offer, but even for less popular games you’ll still often find hundreds of markets.

What’s more – and we mentioned this in the ‘Features’ section above – you can also bet on sports futures at Bet777, which is surprisingly difficult to do with a lot of new betting sites. You can find these futures by clicking onto sports and scrolling down the list to ‘S’, under which you’ll find Sports Futures, as you can see on the below screenshot. 

And there are plenty of them, too. There are futures even for sporting leagues that aren’t currently in action, while you can even bet on novelties like who will win what at the Grammys and Oscars. This is something you will find with a lot of the bigger betting sites, but for new bookies it’s quite rare to find any novelty bets at all.

As for racing, you’ll get what you expect at Bet777. All the markets you’d expect can be found here, from win/ place through to exotics, while the Mystery Bet option is a quirky addition that isn’t widely available at other horse racing betting sites. 

On top of horse racing, they have a decent enough range of markets for greyhound racing as well. So, Bet777 should certainly be considered if you’re looking for new greyhound betting sites to sign up to.

Overall, the range of markets available at Bet777 is really good. For racing there is never all that much variation, but for sports, there certainly can be, and the range of markets available for individual games as well as the impressive selection of futures makes Bet777 one of the more well-rounded new bookies from a market-range standpoint.

There is plenty that’s on offer in terms of available markets at Bet777, but what about the specific bet types for each event? Well, as I have touched on previously, you’ll find a lot to choose from with sport and for racing, it’s the standard that you’ll see across multiple different bookies.

Live betting is a popular way of betting, and for good reason. It can be pretty fun to watch an event begin to unfold and then have the ability to bet on it once it's started, though of course the process is a little clunky in Australia, with laws dictating that these bets need to be placed over the phone.

This does slow down the process which can be annoying because time is of the essence when it comes to live betting. You’ll see some Aussie betting sites offer live betting for sports events, as there is more time between the start and end of the event to place your bets. Whereas, there is not a lot of time in racing, so live betting usually isn’t offered.

At Bet777, however, this option will not be available to you. This is pretty much what we’ve come to expect from new bookies, who don’t usually launch with a live betting option, so perhaps there is some possibility that things will change in this regard at Bet777 Australia in the future. For the time being, however, you’ll have to be content with pre-event markets.

For me, this isn’t really a deal breaker, it’s more of a nice-to-have feature. Live betting is very resource heavy and some of the more established bookies in the market don’t even offer it, let alone one of the newest bookies going around. As Bet777 continues to grow, it wouldn’t surprise me to see them offer live betting.

If you are like so many punters these days and prefer to do your betting from your phone, rather than a laptop, then you will be very pleased with what Bet777 has to offer. The Bet777 app was ready to go pretty much from the moment that the bookie launched, and while it has had a few kinks to iron out, on the whole it provides a really good betting experience.

The app is available for iOS and Android devices, and you can download it wherever it is that you normally download your betting apps from. Once you do, you’ll be able to easily log in to your Bet777 account, or sign up if you haven’t yet done that.

From there, you will have access to Bet777’s wide range of markets, competitive sports odds, customer support platform – the works. It’s all right here on the app, and importantly it’s quick and easy to navigate to wherever you want to go.

I mentioned above that there were a few kinks to iron out. This may not have been the same experience for everyone, but personally I had a couple of issues with the app lagging when I initially started to use it. But that’s to be expected from a new app, and even just a few months after it was launched I haven’t had any problems for some time now.

The Bet777 app is a really good one, maintaining the flashy aesthetic of Bet777 while providing a streamlined mobile experience for punters. This will no doubt be the go-to for many punters betting with Bet777, with the seamless experience on the app making it preferable even to what is a very good desktop site.

Looking for the best betting sites with bonuses? Well, there isn’t a betting site out there that doesn’t offer at least some promos – at least, none that I’ve reviewed – and Bet777 is no different, of course. 

Promos are one of the first things that you will see advertised when you head to their desktop site, but as per Australian rules and regulations you will not be able to see what they are unless you are signed up and logged in. The Bet777 bonus selections change pretty consistently and vary in quality. 

Certainly they do dish up a few good ones that can be worth trying to take advantage of, but like with every site, some of the promos here sound a lot better than they are – and you do, of course, always need to be aware of the turnover requirements if you happen to win any money using these deals.

As we near the end of this Bet777 review, we’re going to take a look at a couple of areas that might not exactly be the most thrilling to discuss but which nonetheless play a role in any analysis of a betting site. We’ll kick things off with payment options.

After you sign up with Bet777, you will of course need to deposit funds in order to start betting. This is super easy with Bet777. You don’t need to verify anything before depositing; simply enter your card details – assuming that’s how you’re depositing – and you’ll be ready to go. 

You can use VISA or Mastercard, while you can also deposit using bank transfer if you prefer. Bear in mind that the debit/credit card will see funds immediately appear in your Bet777 account, while bank transfer might take a little while. You’ll need to deposit a minimum of $10 using both of these methods.

At the time of writing, those are the only payment options available. While this is good enough for most Aussies, if you’re looking for PayPal betting sites or BPAY betting sites, for example, you’ll have to look further than Bet777.

Hopefully, you can build on those funds, and ultimately withdraw it back to your bank account. Once again, when you do this you will need to withdraw at least ten bucks, though this is better than with some other bookies who make you take out at least $20. 

To withdraw you will have to use bank transfer, which can take a day or two, but is a safe and secure method. Customer support platforms are like an insurance policy – hopefully you never have to actually use it, but if you do it’s nice to know there’s a big comfy net for you to fall into. I’m not sure I’d quite describe the Bet777 customer service as a big comfy net – maybe more of a medium-sized, moderately comfortable one – but it will catch you if you need nonetheless.

Of the three options that betting sites will offer, Bet777 has two of them available; live chat and an email address, with the missing piece being a phone number. Certainly the addition of a phone number would be nice – the more options the merrier – but for most people the two options that are available should suffice.

Using live chat is really easy. As with all BetCloud sites, you simply locate the ‘Contact Us’ button on the right of your screen, click on it, and a little bubble will pop up on the right-hand bottom corner. Click that in order to start your chat with a customer service agent. Alternatively, simply send an email directly to service@bet777.com.au.

I’ve used both methods and personally prefer the live chat, but really it depends what your situation is. If you’ve got the time it’s probably worth sometimes having to queue up for a short period of time in live chat to get things sorted there and then, but if you’re in a rush it’s nice to have the luxury of just flicking off an email and then continuing about your day.
