Origin is back, which means a trimmed-down NRL schedule — just five matches instead of the usual eight. But fewer games doesn't mean fewer betting opportunities. The action kicks off with a fiery clash between the Sharks and Dragons, which looks like the perfect chance to back an underdog. For more Round 15 NRL tips, read on.

Cronulla Sharks vs St George Illawarra Dragons
A shell-shocked Sharks team will look to return to winning ways when they host the Dragons on Thursday night at PointsBet Stadium. The Cronulla outfit could offer little resistance as a James Fisher-Harris inspired Warriors performance condemned them to a 30-point defeat on Saturday.
They will hope to do better against their Thursday night visitors, however, as they are currently on a nine-match winning streak against the Dragons. Shane Flanagan’s men, however, have been in good form lately. They have won four of their last seven games and will match the Sharks’ points haul if they can secure a win on Thursday.
Betting sites heavily favour a Sharks win in this one, but we think there is good value in backing the Dragons.

Gold Coast Titans vs Manly Sea Eagles
The Titans will walk out of the tunnel on Friday night as underdogs at Bet365 and other top bookmakers following their big losses to Storm, as we predicted, and the Broncos. The next team on Titans’ radar are the Sea Eagles, who have won their last two duels against the Gold Coasters.
After suffering three defeats in a row, it’s hard to entertain any sort of optimism for the bottom-placed team. The Sea Eagles have two wins in their last four outings and they should be looking at this fixture as another winnable one.
With six wins and seven losses this season, Daly Cherry-Evans and his side have been the definition of inconsistency. That said, they should still cruise past arguably the poorest side in the NRL right now.

Newcastle Knights vs Sydney Roosters
The Roosters will hope to continue their push for the top eight when they travel to McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 10th-placed Roosters fell only two points short in a 50-point showdown against the Raiders last time out. The Knights, on the other hand, secured a much-needed win against the Sea Eagles, but they are still 15th on the ladder.
NRL fans were treated to a classic when these two had last met at this arena. The Roosters nicked a two-point win and they are favourites to win here once again. Also, the Roosters have won three of the last four matches between these two sides.

North Queensland Cowboys vs Dolphins
A high-flying Dolphins team challenge the Cowboys at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday night. The Cowboys are currently sixth and sit a step above the Dolphins in the NRL ladder, but they find themselves the underdog across betting apps ahead of this clash.
A glance at the recent results explains why Australian bookmakers are leaning that way. The Dolphins have outscored their last two opponents 100–14, including a rout of the table-topping Bulldogs.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, have hit a rough patch after a dominant start. With just one win from their last five outings, it’s hard to see them breaking that trend this weekend.
Official Squads
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Zac Laybutt 4. Murray Taulagi 5. Jaxson Paulo 6. Jaxon Purdue 7. Jake Clifford 8. Jordan McLean 9. Karl Lawton 10. Sam McIntyre 11. Kai O'Donnell 12. Coen Hess 13. Jason Taumalolo 14. Harrison Edwards 15. Griffin Neame 16. Thomas Mikaele 17. Kaiden Lahrs.

Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 12. Oryn Keeley 13. Ray Stone 14. Kurt Donoghoe 15. Connelly Lemuelu 16. Mark Nicholls 17. Josh Kerr.
South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canterbury Bulldogs
The Rabbitohs will hope to arrest their recent slump on Sunday, but it will be a Herculean task as the top-ranked Bulldogs are set to visit Accor Stadium. Wayne Bennett’s men must produce a statement performance to avoid their third successive defeat.
The South Sydney side has been on and off again throughout the season. They are currently 12th, but have shown that they can trouble the top sides on their day.
The Bulldogs did not let a heavy defeat derailing their campaign as they responded from the Dolphins loss with a solid 30-12 win against the Eels. Having won 10 of their first 12 games, Cameron Ciraldo’s men are still the team to beat in NRL this season.
Official Squads
Rabbitohs: 1. Jye Gray 2. Alex Johnston 3. Jack Wighton 4. Campbell Graham 5. Tyrone Munro 6. Jayden Sullivan 7. Jamie Humphreys 8. Jai Arrow 9. Siliva Havili 10. Keaon Koloamatangi 11. Euan Aitken 12. Tallis Duncan 13. Lachlan Hubner 14. Lewis Dodd 15. Sean Keppie 16. Liam Le Blanc 17. Tevita Tatola.
Bulldogs: 1. Connor Tracey 2. Jacob Kiraz 3. Bronson Xerri 4. Blake Taaffe 5. Marcelo Montoya 6. Lachlan Galvin 7. Toby Sexton 8. Josh Curran 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 11.
