St George Illawarra Dragons vs Newcastle Knights
The Dragons and Knights launch Round 13 action each hoping to string together rare back-to-back wins. St George Illawarra breathed life back into their campaign with a gritty four-point triumph over the unpredictable Broncos in Brisbane.
Newcastle, too, secured their fourth win of 2025, keeping the reigning premiers to just six points — although it came against a Penrith team missing much of its firepower.
The Dragons have won only twice at home this season, while three out of Newcastle’s four wins have come on the road. So, we are expecting an away win in this one, which offers great value across betting sites.

Gold Coast Titans vs Melbourne Storm
The Gold Coast Titans and Melbourne Storm will be bidding to avoid back-to-back defeats when the sides meet at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The visitors edged out a narrow win in their last trip here, and their recent form suggests they’re well-placed to do it again.
The Storm burst out of the gates to start the season, but their momentum has stalled, with results see-sawing over their last six games. Despite that trend, against a Titans side with just one win in their last seven, Craig Bellamy’s men should still be set for another victory.
We're backing the over in this clash, with four of the Titans' last five games and three of the Storm's last five surpassing the 48.5-point mark.
Official Squads

North Queensland Cowboys vs Wests Tigers
Neither of these two teams featured in last week’s preview since they enjoyed a bye week, but the Cowboys and Tigers are set to return this weekend and battle in a crucial NRL tie.
The Tigers have shown signs of a revival in recent weeks, winning three of their last six matches. However, the transfer saga surrounding Lachlan Galvin may have served as an unwelcome distraction for Benji Marshall’s side.
Seventh-placed Cowboys enter the fray as the favourites, though they are currently winless in three games. With Reuben Cotter and Tom Dearden returning from Origin duty, however, the hosts will hope to return to winning ways on Saturday. We say they’re a decent shot of doing so as well.
Official Squads
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Zac Laybutt 4. Viliami Vailea 5. Semi Valemei 6. Jaxon Purdue 7. Tom Dearden 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Coen Hess 11. John Bateman 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Sam McIntyre 14. Harrison Edwards 15. Thomas Mikaele 16. Griffin Neame 17. Kai O'Donnell.
Tigers: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Solomona Faatape 4. Starford To'a 5. Charlie Staines 6. Adam Douiehi 7. Jarome Luai 8. Terrell May 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. Royce Hunt 11. Samuela Fainu 12. Alex Seyfarth 13. Alex Twal 14. Brent Naden 15. Tony Sukkar 16. Jack Bird 17. Sione Fainu.
Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos
Eighth-placed Brisbane head to Sydney to face ninth-placed Manly in Saturday’s NRL finale. The Broncos have struggled for consistency this season and will be up against history, having won just two of their last nine visits to 4 Pines Park.
However, one of those two wins came when the Broncos played the Sea Eagles here last year. They destroyed the hosts 40-14 in a dominant display and will be hoping for a repeat.
The Sea Eagles have failed to take flight at home in their last three attempts, but the Broncos have also lost five of their last six matches. This is a tough match to call, but we are going with the Broncos since the Sea Eagles have a larger number of injury absentees heading into this game.
Official Squads
Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Reuben Garrick 5. Lehi Hopoate 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Toafofoa Sipley 9. Jake Simpkin 10. Josh Aloiai 11. Haumole Olakau'atu 12. Ben Trbojevic 13. Jazz Tevaga 14. Lachlan Croker 15. Ethan Bullemor 16. Nathan Brown 17. Matthew Lodge.
Broncos: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Deine Mariner 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Selwyn Cobbo 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ezra Mam 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Patrick Carrigan 9. Billy Walters 10. Corey Jensen 11. Xavier Willison 12. Jordan Riki 13. Kobe Hetherington 14. Cory Paix 15. Brendan Piakura 16. Fletcher Baker 17. Ben Te Kura.
South Sydney Rabbitohs vs New Zealand Warriors
Sunday’s NRL action begins with a crunch clash between two in-form teams. The Rabbitohs sit sixth in the standings as they welcome the Warriors on Sunday afternoon. Betting apps are considering the visitors slight favourites, but the hosts are quite capable of giving them a run for their money.
Back-to-back wins have helped Wayne Bennett’s side snap a four-game losing streak. The Warriors, meanwhile, fell to the Raiders last time out but had won five straight prior to that defeat.
Expect a tight, low-scoring clash since both sides held their opponents to under 20 points in each of their last two outings.
Official Squads
Rabbitohs: 1. Latrell Mitchell 2. Alex Johnston 3. Isaiah Tass 4. Campbell Graham 5. Bayleigh Bentley-Hape 6. Jayden Sullivan 7. Jamie Humphreys 8. Jai Arrow 9. Siliva Havili 10. Keaon Koloamatangi 11. Euan Aitken 12. Tallis Duncan 13. Lachlan Hubner 14. Jye Gray 15. Sean Keppie 16. Davvy Moale 17. Tevita Tatola.
Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 3. Adam Pompey 4. Kurt Capewell 5. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Luke Metcalf 8. James Fisher-Harris 9. Wayde Egan 10. Mitch Barnett 11. Leka Halasima 12. Marata Niukore 13. Erin Clark 14. Te Maire Martin 15. Jacob Laban 16. Jackson Ford 17. Bunty Afoa.
Penrith Panthers vs Parramatta Eels
The Panthers return to NRL action this weekend against the Parramatta Eels after paying the price for fielding an understrength squad against the Knights.
With Penrith stuck at the bottom, Ivan Cleary will be sweating on his Origin contingent featuring Nathan Cleary, Brian To’o, Dylan Edwards, Liam Martin, and Isaah Yeo returning injury-free. Every win counts from now on as the reigning Premiers look to claw back into a finals position.
The Eels have struggled to find form this season as well, but three of their four wins have come in their last five games. The visitors, however, will also hope that their Origin stars Zac Lomax and Mitch Moses return unscathed as they fight for another two points.
Official Squads
Panthers: 1. Daine Laurie 2. Paul Alamoti 3. Izack Tago 4. Luke Garner 5. Brian To'o 6. Blaize Talagi 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. Lindsay Smith 11. Liam Martin 12. Scott Sorensen 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Brad Schneider 15. Preston Riki 16. Luron Patea 17. Harrison Hassett.
Eels: 1. Isaiah Iongi 2. Zac Lomax 3. Joash Papalii 4. Jordan Samrani 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Dylan Brown 7. Mitch Moses 8. Jack Williams 9. Ryley Smith 10. Junior Paulo 11. Kelma Tuilagi 12. Kitione Kautoga 13. J'maine Hopgood 14. Dylan Walker 15. Luca Moretti 16. Ryan Matterson 17. Matt Doorey.
Sydney Roosters vs Canberra Raiders
The Roosters have gained some momentum in recent weeks, having won three of their last five to climb to 11th on the ladder. However, a stern test awaits as the Raiders, who are just below the table-topping Bulldogs, are coming to town on Sunday evening.
Last year, the home sides lost both legs of this fixture. The Raiders lost 16-44 at home to Roosters, before avenging the loss in Sydney three months later.
The Raiders have just one Origin representative compared to the Roosters’ five, meaning they’re likely to field a fresher, more well-rested squad on Sunday. So, we are expecting another Raiders win.
Official Squads
Roosters: 1. James Tedesco 2. Daniel Tupou 3. Billy Smith 4. Robert Toia 5. Mark Nawaqanitawase 6. Sandon Smith 7. Hugo Savala 8. Spencer Leniu 9. Connor Watson 10. Lindsay Collins 11. Angus Crichton 12. Siua Wong 13. Victor Radley 14. Zach Dockar-Clay 15. Nat Butcher 16. Blake Steep 17. Egan Butcher.
Raiders: 1. Kaeo Weekes 2. Savelio Tamale 3. Matthew Timoko 4. Sebastian Kris 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Corey Horsburgh 9. Tom Starling 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Zac Hosking 13. Morgan Smithies 14. Owen Pattie 15. Simi Sasagi 16. Josh Papali'i 17. Ata Mariota.
