Two of the world’s greatest players go at it in our featured game of 28 Feb. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads his Milwaukee Bucks against Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets. Denver is tied for second place in the Western Conference while Milwaukee is fifth in the East.

Nuggets -3.5 |$1.91 @ Betfocus

The Nuggets had been the hottest team in the NBA until their loss this past Sunday in Los Angeles ended their nine-game winning streak. They quickly got back on track, coasting to a 125-116 win over Indiana (just ahead of Milwaukee in the standings) on Tuesday.

The Bucks also had a recent winning streak snapped, falling by three to the Rockets on Wednesday. They had won four in a row prior to that contest to get themselves right in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Milwaukee has struggled this year against better competition, going 8-14 against teams with winning records. The Nuggets have the fifth-best road record in the league. Expect them to be too much for the Bucks to handle and get the cover.

Nuggets-Bucks Under 241.5 |$1.93 @ Playup

Another smart play to look at for this game is the Over/Under. It’s currently listed at 241.5, a total surpassed in four of Denver’s ten games this month. Milwaukee has done that just twice in their 11 games in February.

In addition, the Under has hit in seven of the Bucks’ last 10 games. Denver hasn’t been much more impressive, hitting the Over in just four of their previous 10 contests.

The trends are pointing towards the point total in this game not exceeding that 241.5 mark. Expect that to be the case and take the Under for Denver at Milwaukee.

Warriors-Magic Over 210.5 |$1.90 @ Betright

The Golden State Warriors have been scoring in bunches as of late, but the key to their recent success has been team defense. In games with Jimmy Butler, the Warriors have allowed opponents just 104.4 points per 100 possessions, the best in the NBA over that span.

The Magic have seen the Under hit in six straight games. However, these trends don’t tell the whole story. The Warriors haven’t been in a game that failed to surpass 210 points but once in their last 19 games.

Expect Orlando not to have an answer for the Warriors offense while doing better than their 82-point output against the Cavs on Tuesday. Our NBA expert tip is to take the Over for this one.
