SugarCastle Australia Markets & Bet Types
While SugarCastle betting odds are not exactly industry leading, they do compensate to some extent for that by offering a pretty decent range of markets – assuming you generally punt on popular sports leagues.
They don’t have a massive range of different sports available, so if you’re looking for the latest odds on an obscure billiards tournament you might struggle, but if you’re looking for NBA, NFL, AFL or NRL betting, for example, you will have a plethora of odds to choose from.
If we take a look at the upcoming NFL game which was included in the above screenshot, for example, we will see no less than 528 different markets available – and that’s with the game still a couple of days away, so a few more might pop up as we near kick off.
So what kind of markets are we looking at here? There are, of course, all of the standard ones front and centre on the match page when you click into it, the likes of moneyline, handicap and points total over/under.
But as you can see on the below screenshot, it does not end there – far from it. Up the top, you can click through to a whole range of different market types. ‘Handicap’, for example, gives you odds on alternate handicaps either for the entire game, one particular half or even just one quarter.
Clicking on ‘Player’ will let you take a look at all the player props available, of which there are plenty – for this NFL game. For example, you’ve got over/unders for receiving yards, passing yards, players to have a certain number in a statistical category and the list goes on. It’s about as extensive as it comes, so if you’re a prop bettor, then SugarCastle is certainly worth checking out.

So how about racing? Clearly, the range of markets available for racing are not going to differ as much across different bookies as it will for sports, and with SugarCastle you will get pretty much what you would expect with racing. Every race you would want is available, be that in Australia or international, while you can bet on thoroughbreds, harness or greyhounds.
You’ve then got all the win/place markets and exotics, though SugarCastle also has a couple of notable nice extras here. There’s the ‘Blended’ feature which we talked about above, enabling you to put multiple runners into the one bet if you’re confident one of a few will win, while same race multi enables you to select a certain number of runners to finish in different positions – for example, one to finish top two and another to finish top four.
Overall, the range of markets that you will find at SugarCastle is pretty impressive. There are a huge number of sports markets available for the sports that they do have, even if that list of sports is not all that extensive, while for racing, the standard markets apply while Blended and Same Race Multi are notable extra features.
