NBA Multi bet of the Weekend| October 27-29

At the start of any NBA season, every team is feeling their way into what should be a long campaign ahead and the opening weekend in 2024 promises to be no different. 
Some of the divisional favourites find themselves in contention from the off, with the Boston Celtics hosting the Miami Heat, as one of the favourites for the NBA title with many Aussie bookmakers. 
Elsewhere, the New Orleans Pelicans taking on the New York Knicks is a contest that has every NBA fan salivating, whilst there will be no love lost between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings.  

28th October 2023, 14.30 – TD Garden, Boston. 

Two absolute giants of the NBA do battle at the TD Garden, as the Boston Celtics host the Miami Heat. Being the bridesmaid in recent years has been the problem for the Celtics in recent seasons, with Eastern Conference dominance simply not turning into NBA Championship glory all too often. 
That said, they do look to have one of the most dangerous rosters in the NBA this season and they should be one of the sides to keep an eye on with the best betting sites. 

For the Miami Heat meanwhile, a new season will of course represent a new start and they will believe that they have the personnel to at least mount a play-off charge this term. 28th October 2023, 17.00 – Golden 1 Centre, Sacramento.

Californian rivals Sacramento and Golden State do battle this weekend too, with neither side likely to be in the mood to give the other a boost. A rivalry that has ebbed and flowed throughout the years, both sides are in very different places than they were a couple of decades ago, but the discontent between the two franchises is still prevalent. 

For the Sacramento Kings, silencing the doubters will be the ultimate aim this term – as they look to climb up the Western Conference and potentially think about a top 8 push towards the end of the campaign. Not many betting apps will have too high hopes for the Sacramento Kings this term but they will be up for this one in front of their home fans. 

For Golden State meanwhile, challenging at the sharp end of the Western Conference will be their aim this season, after their campaign coming to such a damp squib of an end last year. 

The Sacramento Kings could make this very difficult for the Golden State Warriors, but Steve Kerr’s side are a classy outfit, that should get the job done here.

Two sides that will be looking to make an assault on the play-off places this season face off, as the New York Knicks travel to the New Orleans Pelicans. 
For the Pelicans, having Zion Williamson in the roster and firing will be absolutely key and the 23-year-old power forward is once again one of the favourites to be named the NBA MVP at the end of the season with many domestic and international betting sites. 

Tempering expectation is they key for the New York Knicks, who impressed for large periods of the 2023 campaign – despite plenty of off-court issues to deal with. Losing out in the Eastern Conference semi-finals is still a sore one for the Knicks but they can take heart from that, as they look to kick on throughout the 2024 season. 

Calling a winner here isn’t an easy one but the Knicks need to start picking up wins in games such as these and a triumph on the road in New Orleans would be a statement result.
