Defending a title is never easy but the Denver Nuggets have been in fine fettle once again this season and they are a serious force to be reckoned with, as the post-season period looms. Los Angeles Clippers

Whilst naysayers would point to their expensively assembled squad as the rationale behind the LA Clippers managing to compete in the NBA this season, there is far more to it than that. The Clippers are flying over in the West, and they are certainly the most dangerous outfit left in the competition for the likes of the Celtics and the Nuggets.

Milwaukee Bucks

Having had to deal with plenty of change off the court at the start of the year, it would seem that things have settled somewhat at the Milwaukee Bucks and Doc Rivers looks to have firmly stamped his authority on his squad.

What could hold them off? 

Bad habits creeping back in. Having to change a coach during the season is never a great look and it was something the Milwaukee Bucks opted to do at the start of 2024. There is always one team that forces their way into NBA playoff contention and over in the East, the New York Knicks have bulldozered their way into the mix. Minnesota Timberwolves  

Another team tearing up the form book is the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have been in fine fettle in the Western Conference all season.
