How far can Bella Nopotina go in 2024?

Following an excellent campaign in 2023, Bella Nipotina looks ready to kick on in 2024, with connections very excited about the season ahead.

The 2023 Lightning Stakes will always be a what might have been race for Bella Nipotina, who hugely impressed in finishing in 3rd place. 
 
However, losing out to then stablemate Coolangatta and I Wish I Win is certainly nothing to be sniffed at and Bella Nipotina seemed to take heart from mixing it with the big guns. 
 
Having been declared to the 2024 incarnation of the race, Bella Nipotina should be better for the experience last year and punters and betting apps will fancy her to run well at Flemington once again this year.

A stellar card has been assembled at Flemington on Saturday 17th February and the presence of Bella Nipotina in the Lightning Stakes has only added to the intrigue surrounding the race. 
 
Trainer Ciaron Maher has been vocal previously that the softer, wetter ground is actually a better fit for Bella Nipotina so whilst attendees will be hoping the rain stays away, Bella Nipotina backers will be praying for the heavens to open at Flemington.
