EPL 2023/24 Matchweek 26

As Liverpool and Chelsea battle it out for the first piece of silverware this season, the Premier League rumbles on once more for all punters and EPL betting sites

Manchester City and Arsenal will be doing all they can to take advantage of Liverpool’s cup final distraction, whilst at the bottom of the table, the relegation battle intensifies for Sheffield United and Burnley.

Matchweek 26 Fixtures

Brighton vs Everton

AMEX Stadium, 25th February 2024 – 03.00

The first game of the weekend pits Brighton against Everton, with the Seagulls looking to build on their handsome win over Sheffield United last time out. For Brighton, a top 6 finish this season remains the aim but they need to start developing more consistency in terms of their results. Meanwhile, Everton have been struggling in attacking areas under Sean Dyche, but they have been keeping things tight defensively and they will enjoy the role of party pooper here. Everton will be up for this, but Brighton should have enough about them to get the job done.

Manchester United vs Fulham

Old Trafford, 25th February 2024 – 03.00

Having seen their results improve in recent weeks, there is a feeling amongst punters and soccer betting sites that Manchester United are ready to force their way back into the race for a top 4 finish. The Red Devils sit 6th following their win at Luton Town last time out and Fulham await next. The Cottagers are going well in the Premier League, but they have struggled against the so-called bigger teams this term and with United fit and firing, a home win looks to be very much on the cards here.

Crystal Palace vs Burnley

Selhurst Park, 18th February 2024 – 03.00

The Oliver Glasner era at Crystal Palace is set to get underway, as the Eagles take on Burnley in a crucial relegation clash. Palace are treading dangerously close to the drop zone this season but a change in manager could bring about a change in fortunes, as they look to move on from the Roy Hodgson era. Burnley meanwhile are struggling under Vincent Kompany and currently find themselves 7 points from safety. This will be a good one to watch but Palace should benefit from the new manager boost and playing at home in this one.

Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest

Villa Park, 25th February 2024 – 03.00

Aston Villa will be doing all they can to keep pace in the top 4 race, as they take on Nottingham Forest. Villa have been hugely impressive this term and they looked back to their best in picking up an important away win at Fulham last time out. Nottingham Forest meanwhile did manage to beat Villa earlier in the season but remain embroiled in a relegation scrap and every point they manage to pick up is precious. This will be a good game, which Villa should prevail in at home.

Bournemouth vs Manchester City

Vitality Stadium, 25th February 2024 – 05.30

Having dropped points against Chelsea last weekend, Manchester City will be eager to stake their Premier League title claim with many online soccer betting sites, as they travel to Bournemouth. The Cherries have been ticking along nicely this season, having picked up some very good results at home and they will be up for this challenge against City. The blues are struggling for form and momentum a little and with Bournemouth fresh and raring to go, a draw could potentially be on the cards.

Arsenal vs Newcastle United

Emirates Stadium, 25th February 2024 – 08.00

Premier League title chasing Arsenal will know they will need to be at their best here, as they take on Newcastle United. With 11 goals banged in over the past two games, Arsenal are purring currently, and the Gunners will be hoping to put on a show here. Newcastle are a tough nut to crack, and they have been impressive on the road of late but Arsenal need a big win and they should manage to record one here, against a side they controversially lost to earlier in the campaign.

Wolves vs Sheffield United

Molyneux, 26th February 2024 – 02.00

Wolves will be looking to continue their excellent recent form as they take on lowly Sheffield United. A superb win at Tottenham last time out was an indicator of how far Wolves have come this term and they will be bang up for putting on a show for their home fans here. The Blades were thumped 5-0 by Brighton last time out and need to show some heart in response but Wolves are playing well, and they should pick up all three points here.

West Ham United vs Brentford

London Olympic Stadium, 27th February 2024 – 08.00

A London Derby of sorts pits West Ham against Brentford, in what should be an excellent Monday Night Football fixture. The Hammers are in real strife, with David Moyes a man under pressure once more and they’re in dire need of a confidence boost. Brentford meanwhile are also struggling for points and their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in midweek was an example of their relative limitations, but they will travel across London with a good plan, that they are very capable of executing. This will be tight, with a draw potentially the outcome.
