EPL 2023/24 Matchweek 24
Champions Manchester City do tend to click into gear at this point in the season and history certainly looks to be repeating itself. Next up for the blues is an improving Everton side, who simply don’t know when they are beat under Sean Dyche.
City have won 9 on the spin and do look to be growing in confidence again this season, making them the favourites for the EPL title with many punters and betting apps. Everton meanwhile won’t fear this assignment and they will look to make life very tough for City but the hosts need three points and they should get them here.

The relegation battle comes to the fore again as Luton Town take on Sheffield United in a huge game for both sides. Currently, the Hatters sit above the drop zone in the Premier League and they have defied all pre-season predictions with soccer betting sites competing admirably in the top-flight.
The same cannot be said for Sheffield United however, who are 10 points adrift of safety and come into this one fresh off the back of a 5-0 home loss to Aston Villa.
Luton will be licking their lips here and they should pick up three more points.

Two of the more entertaining Premier League sides do battle here, as Fulham host Bournemouth on the Thames.
Results of late have been a little underwhelming for Fulham and they only have Premier League status to play for this term, something they should achieve comfortably.
Bournemouth meanwhile have a FA Cup run to navigate but they have been improving in the Premier League in recent weeks and they will be up for the challenge here.
There isn’t much to split these sides, making the draw the most likely outcome at Craven Cottage.

Two sides chasing European football next season face off in North London, as Tottenham host Brighton.
Spurs have been in fine fettle this season, challenging at the very top of the table but a tendency to let in late goals is potentially costing them of late.
Brighton meanwhile had got themselves into a funk of sorts but a big win over rivals Crystal Palace last time out should fill them with confidence ahead of this one.
Goals look guaranteed here, as Spurs look good value to come out on top at home.

Two sides entrenched in the mid-table battle this season face off, as Wolves welcome Brentford to the West Midlands.
Wolves are flying this season under Gary O’Neill and their 4-2 win on the road at Chelsea last weekend will be the perfect preparation ahead of this one.
Brentford meanwhile were well beaten by Manchester City last time out and they will want to respond here, with points needed if they are to avoid slipping into the relegation shakeup.
This will be a tight one but Wolves are full of confidence and they should collect a good home win.

Table topping Liverpool will be eager to keep the chasing pack at bay, as they take on relegation threatened Burnley.
Jurgen Klopp’s pending departure at Liverpool will be the narrative for the remainder of the campaign and they will be desperate to put on a show in games such as this.
Burnley meanwhile are a side that have plenty of exciting talents in their ranks but they will find this task too difficult on Merseyside and Liverpool should win comfortably.

Nottingham Forest will be looking to continue their survival bid, as they take on Newcastle United.
The Tricky Trees beat Toon on Boxing Day and have since been plotting their survival push with many online soccer betting sites. Newcastle meanwhile just can’t seem to generate the sort of consistency needed to challenge any higher than mid-table this season and this game is a real test of their credentials. That said, Toon have looked more likely in recent weeks and they could get the job done on the road here.

A London derby is on the agenda, as West Ham welcome Arsenal to the Olympic Stadium.
The Hammers have beaten Arsenal twice already this season and they need a result here to appease the growing discontent amongst their vocal fan base.
Arsenal meanwhile beat Liverpool last time out, which was a huge result in their title bid and they will see this as a chance to stake their claim as genuine title contenders.
This should be a superb game, with Arsenal most likely to pick up all three points.

Another seismic battle is on the cards here, as Aston Villa host Manchester United, in what should be a huge game in the race for European football next term.
Villa have been firing on all cylinders this season, sat pretty in the top 4 and their 5-0 thumping of Sheffield United was another example of their fire power.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are starting to trend in the right direction too, beating West Ham comfortably last weekend and they will be up for the challenge here.
This should be a good one, with the draw looking to be the most likely outcome.

Two teams and managers under the pump face off, as Crystal Palace take on Chelsea at Selhurst Park.
Roy Hodgson is a man under pressure for Palace, with the Eagles very much in the relegation scrap and their 4-1 loss at Brighton last time out was particularly concerning.
Chelsea are in the same boat, having lost at home to Wolves last weekend and Mauricio Pochettino has his work cut out in his attempts to win over the fans and players at Stamford Bridge.
This should be a good game, with Chelsea potentially having too much quality in key areas for Palace here.
