English Premier League 2023/24 Matchweek 23 – Betting tips & Predictions

The cut and thrust of the Premier League is back and there will be no let-up in the schedule for the next few weeks, as domestic league action takes centre stage across Europe. 
With so many games to look forward to, there are betting opportunities aplenty with EPL betting sites as the race for the title, the top 4 and to avoid the drop seriously hots up. 

Goodison Park, 4th February 2024 – 00.30 

Now sitting in the bottom three, it is time for Everton to pull away from trouble, as Sean Dyche’s side take on high-flying Tottenham. Everton have endured a 10-point deduction and are subsequently being tipped by EPL punters and betting apps to finally drop into the Championship but the Toffees are not done yet. They take on a Tottenham side that continue to bring the chaos to every game but who will be bang up for this challenge on the road. 

This will be a very watchable game, with Spurs most likely to prevail on their travels.

Two old foes go at it on the South coast, as Brighton take on rivals Crystal Palace. This is a game that has always carried plenty of needle and both teams will believe they can pick up the points here. Brighton are always a side to look out for with soccer betting sites but a 4-0 loss on the road at Luton in midweek was a tough result to take. Crystal Palace meanwhile are battling it out down at the bottom of the league, but they are always a tough nut to crack. 

This one may be tight, with Brighton perhaps the most likely to come out on top.

Survival will also be on the agenda at Turf Moor, as Burnley take on Fulham. The Clarets are fully entrenched in the bottom three and Vincent Kompany has a serious job on his hands if he is to plot Burnley’s route to survival. 

Fulham meanwhile have only the Premier League to play for now this season and they look to be a side lacking in confidence slightly. 

This may be a cagey affair, with both sides potentially happy enough to settle for a point in Lancashire.

A resurgent Newcastle United will be looking for revenge over Luton Town, as the two sides clash in the North East. 

Toon endured a tough end to 2023, including a 1-0 loss at Luton but they have bounced back well over the past week and continue to fight in both the Premier League and the FA Cup. 

Luton meanwhile thrashed Brighton 4-0 in midweek, to climb out of the drop zone but they will know this is a much taller order. 

This will be a good game, with Newcastle back firing and ready to go here.

Aston Villa meanwhile have wobbled in recent weeks, and they need a win here to stay in the top 4 hunt. 


This will be a great game for the neutral and Villa should just about prevail.
