Liverpool and Arsenal are both chasing Manchester City down.

Who will win the EPL title?

News Insights

  • Manchester City find themselves 2 points clear at the top of the table.
  • Arsenal lost ground with a home loss to Aston Villa.
  • Liverpool also succumbed to a 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
  • Only 6 games remain in the 2023/24 EPL season.

It has been the three-way title race that was always going to go down to the wire and the drama is showing no sign of relenting.

Arsenal, Liverpool and now Manchester City have all had their destiny in their own hands over the past fortnight, in an epic title tussle.

City have their noses in front and course and distance would make them the favourites to lift the title with many pundits and EPL betting sites but there is still plenty of football to be played.

City chugging on

For all the talk at the end of 2023 of Manchester City’s struggles, the blues have demonstrated their mental strength once again by just being in the EPL title hunt.

Unbeaten since December, City continue to battle on all three fronts, with an FA Cup and Champions League defence also occupying their minds.

Pessimism from the chasing pack is unwarranted though, with City yet to fully find their stride but the blues are dreaming of another EPL title and currently sit at the top of the tree.

Arsenal awry

Over the past couple of seasons, the progression and development from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal has been nothing short of remarkable.

The Gunners have recruited expertly to climb into EPL title contention, and they are also fully in the hunt in the Champions League.

However, an unforeseen defeat to Aston Villa last time out has seen them lose pace.

With 6 games to go, Arsenal are only 2 points behind Manchester City, and they look ready to pounce should City slip up.

Luckless Liverpool

With Jurgen Klopp departing Liverpool at the end of the season, the reds have long been tipped for the title with many EPL pundits and betting sites

However, they have found goals hard to come by in recent games, drawing with Manchester United and failing to score against Atalanta and Crystal Palace.

It is not panic stations for Liverpool just yet, but the reds are too playing catch up in the Premier League title race and they will be desperate to cash in if others falter.
