Penrith Panthers vs Canterbury Bulldogs
The Canterbury Bulldogs, current table toppers, will hope to continue their winning run when they face the reigning Premiers Penrith on Thursday night in a box-office NRL clash.
Betting sites are backing the Canterbury side to win, even though they will be in enemy territory. The Panthers had a shocking start to the season, but they have managed to stop the rot in recent weeks and have won three of their last five games to eek inside the top eight.
Ivan Cleary’s men now take on a side that have been incredibly consistent this season. The Bulldogs are on top with two games in hand, and they are our pick to get the job done again - but it’ll be tight.
Official Squads
Panthers: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Thomas Jenkins 3. Izack Tago 4. Casey McLean 5. Brian To'o 6. Blaize Talagi 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. Lindsay Smith 11. Liam Martin 12. Isaiah Papali'i 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Brad Schneider 15. Liam Henry 16. Luron Patea 17. Luke Garner.

Jacob Preston 13. Kurt Mann 14. Bailey Hayward 15. Harry Hayes 16. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 17. Lachlan Galvin.
Manly Sea Eagles vs Wests Tigers
After suffering back-to-back defeats, the Sea Eagles get a chance to return to winning ways as they welcome a Tigers unit that have now lost five games in a row.
Benji Marshall’s men will also feel like they have a shot at arresting their slump as Manly have looked well out of sorts in their last two outings.
Tom Trbojevic will start in the centres and Lehi Hopoate at fullback as Sea Eagles boss Anthony Seibold experiments with a new combination in search of a much-needed win. Though the hosts have struggled lately, we don’t think Tigers can outperform them in this one. Back the home side to edge out a scrappy one.
Official Squads
Sea Eagles: 1. Lehi Hopoate 2. Reuben Garrick 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Tom Trbojevic 5. Tommy Talau 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Ethan Bullemor 9. Lachlan Croker 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho 11. Newcastle Knights vs Canberra Raiders
Battling to stay within touching distance of the red-hot Bulldogs, the Canberra Raiders travel northeast to lock horns with a tricky opposition.
The Newcastle Knights currently sit 13th on the ladder, but they have registered three victories in their last five. They brought the Dolphins’ remarkable surge to a halt in their last outing, edging a 26-20 thriller.
The Knights have been a bogey team for the Raiders in recent years: the capital side have managed to win only one of their last five matches against them. This is a tough match to call, but we like the value NRL betting sites are offering on the hosts pulling off an upset here.
Official Squads
Knights: 1. Kalyn Ponga 2. Dominic Young 3. Dane Gagai 4. Bradman Best 5. Greg Marzhew 6. Jackson Hastings 7. Jack Cogger 8. Tyson Frizell 9. Jayden Brailey 10. Mathew Croker 11. Dylan Lucas 12. Brisbane Broncos vs New Zealand Warriors
The Warriors will be looking to complete the 2025 double on the Broncos as the duo meet two months after their Golden Point thriller in Auckland.
MyBettingAustralia-approved bookies, however, have the Broncos as favourites to avenge that loss and move closer to their Saturday afternoon opponents in the standings. The Warriors - who are currently fourth - would still be above the fifth place Broncos if they lose this match, but the points gap would shrink from six to four.
New Zealand have been the more consistent side this season, though they did lose to the Panthers in their previous match. The Broncos, on the other hand, have recovered from their four-match losing streak with consecutive wins. We’re tipping the Kiwis to reignite their consistency and get back to winning ways on Saturday.
Official Squads
Broncos: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Josiah Karapani 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Gehamat Shibasaki 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ezra Mam 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Corey Jensen 9. Cory Paix 10. Payne Haas 11. Brendan Piakura 12. Jordan Riki 13. Patrick Carrigan 14. Billy Walters 15. Kobe Hetherington 16. Xavier Willison 17. Jack Gosiewski.
Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Taine Tuaupiki 3. Adam Pompey 4. Moala Graham-Taufa 5. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Luke Metcalf 8. James Fisher-Harris 9. Wayde Egan 10. Jackson Ford 11. Leka Halasima 12. Jacob Laban 13. Erin Clark 14. Te Maire Martin 15. Bunty Afoa 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Tanner Stowers-Smith.
St George Illawarra Dragons vs Parramatta Eels
Saturday’s clash at WIN Stadium features two teams in need of a turnaround. The Dragons are licking their wounds after a 12-point defeat to the Sharks, which is their second straight loss. They will be hoping to reset against the Eels, who sit dangerously close to Wooden Spoon territory.
The Eels have shown better form in recent weeks, however. Their win against the Titans was their third win in the last five matches. If they can stay on this upward trajectory, the Eels will make life difficult for the hosts in this clash.
We believe the visitors have the momentum to secure a much-needed win on the road. But again, expect an ugly one.
Official Squads
Dragons: 1. Clint Gutherson 2. Nathan Lawson 3. Moses Suli 4. Val Holmes 5. Tyrell Sloan 6. Lyhkan King-Togia 7. Kyle Flanagan 8. Jack de Belin 9. Damien Cook 10. David Klemmer 11. Jaydn Su'A 12. Toby Couchman 13. Hamish Stewart 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Luciano Leilua 16. Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga 17. Hame Sele.
Eels: 1. Isaiah Iongi 2. Zac Lomax 3. Joash Papali'i 4. Sean Russell 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Dylan Brown 7. Dean Hawkins 8. Jack Williams 9. Joey Lussick 10. Junior Paulo 11. Kelma Tuilagi 12. Kitione Kautoga 13. J'maine Hopgood 14. Dylan Walker 15. Matt Doorey 16. Wiremu Greig 17. Jordan Samrani.
Dolphins vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
The Dolphins finally crashed down to earth last week after a run of three incredible wins. However, they are now set to play one of the most out of form teams in the league at home. So, odds across betting apps are in their favour to bounce back with a commanding victory on Saturday night.
The Rabbitohs have lost all early signs of improvement they showed under Wayne Bennett, now falling to four straight defeats. However, they put up a strong fight against the Bulldogs and Storm in their last two games. Kristian Woolf’s men will be making a big mistake if they underestimate the South Sydney outfit.
We see this one as a bit of a coin flip, but there’s value in some of the markets around a tight scoreline.
Official Squads
Dolphins: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Jake Averillo 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Max Feagai 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Francis Molo 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Mark Nicholls 11. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 12. Oryn Keeley 13. Kurt Donoghoe 14. Harrison Graham 15. Connelly Lemuelu 16. Ray Stone 17. Josh Kerr.
Rabbitohs: 1. Latrell Mitchell 2. Alex Johnston 3. Jack Wighton 4. Isaiah Tass 5. Tyrone Munro 6. Cody Walker 7. Jamie Humphreys 8. Jai Arrow 9. Siliva Havili 10. Keaon Koloamatangi 11. Euan Aitken 12. Tallis Duncan 13. Lachlan Hubner 14. Ryan Gray 15. Davvy Moale 16. Liam Le Blanc 17. Tevita Tatola.
Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla Sharks
Fresh from their hard-fought victory against the Rabbitohs, the Melbourne Storm will now be looking to keep the momentum going against an on-and-off Sharks team.
The Sharks sit sixth on the table, but they have only one win to show for their last four outings. The Cronulla outfit did get the better of Melbourne when the two teams met a few weeks ago, but there’s no knowing which Sharks team will turn up on Sunday.
The Storm have been far more consistent than Craig Fitzgibbon’s men. For this reason, we fancy them to beat Sharks in the comfort of AAMI Park.
Official Squads
Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. Grant Anderson 3. Jack Howarth 4. Nick Meaney 5. Xavier Coates 6. Cam Munster 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Harry Grant 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero 14. Tyran Wishart 15. Nelson Asofa-Solomona 16. Tui Kamikamica 17. Alec MacDonald.
Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Sione Katoa 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Siosifa Talakai 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Braden Hamlin-Uele 11. Briton Nikora 12. Teig Wilton 13. Cameron McInnes 14. Daniel Atkinson 15. Jesse Colquhoun 16. Toby Rudolf 17. Hohepa Puru.
Gold Coast Titans vs North Queensland Cowboys
The final match of the week will see two struggling sides, the Titans and the Cowboys, fight for two valuable points at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Both of these sides have won only once in their last five matches. While the Cowboys are five steps ahead of the 17th placed Titans ahead of this matchup, Todd Payten’s side have a major concern to address.
The Cowboys have managed to hit double digits in only two of their last five games. Should their scoring woes continue, the Wooden Spoon favourites may well be able to hand them a costly defeat.
Official Squads
Titans: 1. AJ Brimson 2. Alofiana Khan-Pereira 3. Jojo Fifita 4. Phil Sami 5. Allan Fitzgibbon 6. Kieran Foran 7. Tom Weaver 8. Moeaki Fotuaika 9. Sam Verrills 10. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 11. Chris Randall 12. Beau Fermor 13. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui 14. Jacob Alick-Wiencke 15. Jaimin Jolliffe 16. Iszac Fa'asumaleaui 17. Klese Haas.
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Zac Laybutt 4. Braidon Burns 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Jaxon Purdue 7. Tom Dearden 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Coen Hess 11. John Bateman 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Reuben Cotter 14. Harrison Edwards 15. Sam McIntyre 16. Griffin Neame 17. Thomas Mikaele.
