Cronulla Sharks vs Parramatta Eels
The Cronulla Sharks are set for another week away from Shark Park following two matches on the road. After a resounding victory at Newcastle International Sports Centre, Cameron McInnes and company fell short in a thrilling 20-18 affair against the Tigers.
They will sense a great chance to return to winning ways against an Eels side that is second to bottom in the standings. The inconsistent Sharks, however, may be forced to dig into their outside back stocks, with back-up centre Mawene Hiroti set to miss several weeks due to a knee injury.
The Eels will be confident on the back of two wins in their last three outings. Jack Williams' injury is a tough blow for the travelling side, but Ryan Matterson should prove an able stand-in.

Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Samuel Stonestreet 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Kayal Iro 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Oregon Kaufusi 11. Sydney Roosters vs The Dolphins
Two resurgent teams will lock horns at the Suncorp when the Sydney Roosters and Dolphins face off in a Friday night NRL clash. The Roosters have registered two wins in their last two, while the Dolphins have won three of their last four matches.
Sydney dismantled the Dragons on Anzac Day, with five-eighth Sandon Smith delivering a standout performance. Smith will once again team up with the reliable Hugo Savala in the halves, with coach Trent Robinson unlikely to make any alterations.
The Dolphins’ impressive three-match winning run was snapped in the capital, where they squandered an 18-point lead to a formidable Raiders side. The absence of key players like Jeremy Marshall-King, Felise Kaufusi, and Max Plath were abruptly felt, but the trio are likely to be available for the Roosters match.
Official Squads

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Newcastle Knights
The Rabbitohs and Knights will begin the Magic Round action on Saturday with an afternoon kickoff. After a promising start to the campaign, the Rabbitohs have hit a rough patch. They did put up a commendable display against the Storm last week, but it was not enough to avoid a third successive defeat.
The Knights are on an even longer losing streak heading into this tie. Adam O'Brien’s side has lost each of their last five matches and failed to score double digit points in three of them. This looks set to be a low-scoring affair between two teams struggling for form.
Official Squads
Rabbitohs: 1. Jye Gray 2. Bayleigh Bentley-Hape 3. Jack Wighton 4. Campbell Graham 5. Isaiah Tass 6. Josh Schuster 7. Jayden Sullivan 8. Sean Keppie 9. Peter Mamouzelos 10. Tevita Tatola 11. Keaon Koloamatangi 12. Euan Aitken 13. Jai Arrow 14. Siliva Havili 15. Davvy Moale 16. Tallis Duncan 17. Lewis Dodd
Knights: 1. Kalyn Ponga 2. James Schiller 3. Dane Gagai 4. Bradman Best 5. Greg Marzhew 6. Fletcher Sharpe 7. Jack Cogger 8. Tyson Frizell 9. Jayden Brailey 10. Leo Thompson 11. Dylan Lucas 12. Kai Pearce-Paul 13. Mathew Croker 14. Phoenix Crossland 15. Tyrone Thompson 16. Thomas Cant 17. Brodie Jones
New Zealand Warriors vs North Queensland Cowboys
The New Zealand Warriors will look to continue their recent dominance over the North Queensland Cowboys when the two teams meet at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday evening. The Kiwis are in excellent form lately, having won five of their last six games.
But the Cowboys have no reason to feel short of confidence ahead of this Magic Round clash as they are currently riding a four-match winning streak. They thrashed the Titans 50-18 in their last outing and will be targeting their first win against the Warriors in four games.
Neither of these teams have fresh injury concerns, so we can expect to see a hotly contested clash between two sides brimming with self belief.
Official Squads
Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Taine Tuaupiki 3. Rocco Berry 4. Ali Leiataua 5. Adam Pompey 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Luke Metcalf 8. Mitchell Barnett 9. Wayde Egan 10. Marata Niukore 11. Kurt Capewell 12. Leka Halasima 13. Erin Clark 14. Jackson Ford 15. Bunty Afoa 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Jacob Laban
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Jaxon Purdue 4. Viliami Vailea 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Tom Dearden 7. Jake Clifford 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Jason Taumalolo 11. John Bateman 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Reuben Cotter 14. Sam McIntyre 15. Griffin Neame 16. Coen Hess 17. Harrison Edwards
Wests Tigers vs St George Illawarra Dragons
The Tigers and Dragons will grace Suncorp as the final act of an action-packed Saturday in the NRL. Having been on the wrong end of two dramatic finishes this season, Benji Marshall's side finally emerged victorious in a tight battle last round, edging out the Sharks with a golden point win.
As for the Dragons, Lachlan Ilias and Kyle Flanagan had a forgettable evening at Allianz Stadium as the Roosters ran riot. The capitulation came somewhat of a surprise as the Dragons had been defensively impressive until that point. Shane Flanagan might feel the urge to make a change in the halves pairing, with Ilias at risk of losing his spot.
Official Squads
Tigers: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Adam Doueihi 4. Starford To’a 5. Brent Naden 6. Lachlan Galvin 7. Jarome Luai 8. Terrell May 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. Fonua Pole 11. Samuela Fainu 12. Alex Seyfarth 13. Alex Twal 14. Tallyn Da Silva 15. Royce Hunt 16. Jack Bird 17. Sione Fainu
Dragons: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Tyrell Sloan 3. Moses Suli 4. Valentine Holmes 5. Sione Finau 6. Kyle Flanagan 7. Jonah Glover 8. Toby Couchman 9. Damien Cook 10. David Klemmer 11. Dylan Egan 12. Jaydn Su’A 13. Jack de Belin 14. Luciano Leilua 15. Jacob Liddle 16. Blake Lawrie 17. Emre Guler
Gold Coast Titans vs Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
The Titans will be eager to end their losing streak on Sunday afternoon at Suncorp, but their supporters may not hold high hopes for a win against the table-topping Bulldogs. The Broncos humbled the Bulldogs in a 42-14 hammering, but can the Titans capitalise on that result to inflict more misery on the Canterbury side?
The Bulldogs came out on top in a high-scoring clash when these teams met earlier this season, taking the bragging rights. While the eight-time Premiers saw an end to their incredible six-game winning streak in the previous match, we think they still have enough firepower in their arsenal to beat the Titans.
Official Squads
Titans: 1. Jaylan De Groot 2. Alofiana Khan-Pereira 3. Brian Kelly 4. Phillip Sami 5. Jojo Fifita 6. AJ Brimson 7. Tom Weaver 8. Moeaki Fotuaika 9. Sam Verrills 10. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 11. Chris Randall 12. Beau Fermor 13. Tino Fa’asuamaleaui 14. David Fifita 15. Jaimin Jolliffe 16. Brock Gray 17. Arama Hau
Bulldogs: 1. Connor Tracey 2. Jacob Kiraz 3. Bronson Xerri 4. Stephen Crichton 5. Marcelo Montoya 6. Matt Burton 7. Toby Sexton 8. Max King 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Josh Curran 11. Viliame Kikau 12. Jacob Preston 13. Jaeman Salmon 14. Kurt Mann 15. Sitili Tupouniua 16. Harry Hayes 17. Bailey Hayward
Penrith Panthers vs Brisbane Broncos
Before the season kicked off, this would have been billed as a marquee clash at the top of the table. However, the Panthers have suffered an unimaginable slump this season. With a third of the season complete, the Panthers are now firmly at the bottom of the table.
A win against the Roosters proved to be a false dawn as Ivan Cleary’s men succumbed to a heavy defeat against the Sea Eagles at CommBank Stadium recently. The Broncos, on the contrary, are riding a wave of confidence after handing the Bulldogs their first defeat of the season with a dominant performance.
Official Squads
Panthers: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Paul Alamoti 3. Izack Tago 4. Casey McLean 5. Brian To'o 6. Blaize Talagi 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Luke Sommerton 10. Liam Henry 11. Scott Sorensen 12. Liam Martin 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Brad Schneider 15. Isaiah Papali'i 16. Lindsay Smith 17. Luke Garner
Broncos: 1. Selwyn Cobbo 2. Deine Mariner 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Gehamat Shibasaki 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ben Hunt 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Patrick Carrigan 9. Billy Walters 10. Payne Haas 11. Xavier Willison 12. Jordan Riki 13. Kobe Hetherington 14. Cory Paix 15. Corey Jensen 16. Brendan Piakura 17. Jaiyden Hunt
Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders
Second meets third in the final Magic Round match of the week as the Melbourne Storm prepare to take on the Canberra Raiders at Suncorp on Sunday night. The Storm come to this following a hard fought win against the Rabbitohs, while the Raiders beat the Dolphins 40-28 in their last assignment.
Melbourne won the last two matches between these two sides, but the Raiders had secured the bragging rights in the previous two games. This NRL clash has the makings of a tightly contested match, but bookmakers are backing the Storm to come out on top with a crucial victory.
Official Squads
Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. Kane Bradley 3. Grant Anderson 4. Nick Meaney 5. Xavier Coates 6. Cameron Munster 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Bronson Garlick 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero 14. Tyran Wishart 15. Alec MacDonald 16. Joe Chan 17. Lazarus Vaalepu
Raiders: 1. Kaeo Weekes 2. Savelio Tamale 3. Matthew Timoko 4. Sebastian Kris 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Corey Horsburgh 9. Tom Starling 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Matt Nicholson 13. Morgan Smithies 14. Owen Pattie 15. Zac Hosking 16. Josh Papali'i 17. Ata Mariota
