South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Penrith Panthers
The Panthers are pushing for an unthinkable fifth title in a row this season. But the four-time defending champions will be under pressure to deliver against a Rabbitohs side that currently sit above them in the standings.
Penrith have won only one of their first three matches and have shown signs of vulnerabilities that Souths will be eager to exploit. The Rabbitohs forwards are likely going to target the untested halves, much like they did against the Dragons two weeks ago.
Nathan Cleary won’t be a part of the travelling Panthers squad as he is nursing a concussion. Daine Laurie remains an uncertainty as well. The Rabbitohs, on the other hand, have no fresh injury concerns to worry about. They might be able to take advantage of this weakened Panthers side. Given the odds Australian betting sites are offering, we say it’s worth a punt.

Sydney Roosters vs Gold Coast Titans
The Titans will hit the road looking for their first away win of the season as they head to the Allianz Arena to lock horns with the Roosters. Des Hasler’s men face a daunting task, however, as they have not won against the Sydney outfit since 2016.
The Roosters have not had the best start to their season. They received a hammering in their opening fixture against the Broncos, before bouncing back with a win against the Panthers. However, they suffered another loss last week, as the Warriors ground out a 14-6 win.
Meanwhile, the Gold Coast returned to winning ways with a 26-6 home win against the Knights. They lost to Bulldogs in the first match, but managed to put 24 points on the board. We’re confident the Titans can finally snap their losing streak against the Roosters this weekend.

Beau Fermor 13. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui 14. Chris Randall 15. David Fifita 16. Iszac Fa'asumaleaui 17. Brock Gray
Dolphins vs Brisbane Broncos
A winless Dolphins will hope to break their duck this week in front of the Suncorp Stadium faithful. They host the Broncos under Friday night lights and will try to pick up back-to-back home wins against their fellow Brisbaners.
The Dolphins secured their first-ever win over the Broncos the last time they met at Suncorp. However, circumstances are different this year, with Brisbane looking much stronger under coach Michael Maguire.
Betting apps have labelled the ‘away’ side as the clear favourite in this game. The Broncos have been far better than the Dolphins this season, and we don’t see that changing any time soon.
Official Squads
Dolphins: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Jake Averillo 4. Herbie Farnworth 5. Jack Bostock 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Daniel Saifiti 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Felise Kaufusi 11. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki 12. Max Plath 13. Tom Gilbert 14. Kurt Donoghoe 15. Oryn Keeley 16. Mark Nicholls 17. Ray Stone
Broncos: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Selwyn Cobbo 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Gehamat Shibasaki 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ben Hunt 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Patrick Carrigan 9. Cory Paix 10. Payne Haas 11. Jack Gosiewski 12. Jordan Riki 13. Kobe Hetherington 14. Billy Walters 15. Corey Jensen 16. Xavier Willison 17. Brendan Piakura
St George Illawarra Dragons vs Melbourne Storm
The Dragons showed great fighting spirit in their first two matches, but Shane Flanagan’s men don’t have anything to show for it. After a one-point defeat to the Rabbitohs, the Dragons suffered another narrow loss against the Cowboys in their last game. Now, they must tame the Storm to put their first points on the board.
That’s easier said than done, of course. The Melbourne side seem adamant to atone for their grand final loss last season and have dominated their opponents in their first two games.
The Dragons might give the Storm a run for their money, but we don’t think they will be able to get the better of them. We predict yet another win for Melbourne here.
Official Squads
Dragons: 1. Clint Gutherson 2. Mathew Feagai 3. Moses Suli 4. Valentine Holmes 5. Christian Tuipulotu 6. Kyle Flanagan 7. Lachlan Ilias 8. Toby Couchman 9. Damien Cook 10. David Klemmer 11. Luciano Leilua 12. Jaydn Su'A 13. Jack de Belin 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Emre Guler 16. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 17. Hame Sele
Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. Grant Anderson 3. Jack Howarth 4. Sua Faalogo 5. Xavier Coates 6. Cameron Munster 7. Tyran Wishart 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Harry Grant 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero 14. Bronson Garlick 15. Alec MacDonald 16. Tui Kamikamica 17. Lazarus Vaalepu
North Queensland Cowboys vs Canberra Raiders
Joseph Tapine returns from suspension to take the Raiders to the QCB Stadium for a Saturday evening showdown with the Cowboys. The hosts are second to bottom in the standings after three winless outings, but underestimating them could prove to be a costly mistake for the capital side.
The Cowboys are on a seven-match winning streak against the Raiders. In their last visit to Townsville, the Raiders suffered a 42-4 humiliation. It has been a rough start for the 2015 premiers, but they may well rekindle their winning spirit against a side they have dominated in recent seasons.
But, the Raiders have already picked up two big wins against the Warriors and Broncos this season. With Tapine back in the fold, they should be able to break their Cowboys hoodoo this time.
Official Squads
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Jaxon Purdue 4. Viliami Vailea 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Tom Dearden 7. Jake Clifford 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Jason Taumalolo 11. John Bateman 12. Kai O'Donnell 13. Reuben Cotter 14. Sam McIntyre 15. Jeremiah Nanai 16. Griffin Neame 17. Coen Hess
Raiders: 1. Kaeo Weekes 2. Savelio Tamale 3. Matthew Timoko 4. Sebastian Kris 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Josh Papalii 9. Tom Starling 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Matt Nicholson 13. Morgan Smithies 14. Owen Pattie 15. Simi Sasagi 16. Corey Horsburgh 17. Trey Mooney
Cronulla Sharks vs Canterbury Bulldogs
The Sharks will look to extend their winning run to three when the second-placed Bulldogs visit Shark Park for Saturday night footy. The teams have each won 20 matches in their previous 40 meetings, meaning one will gain the edge in the head-to-head record—unless this weekend’s clash ends in a draw.
Recent head-to-head meetings have favoured Cronulla, with the Sharks winning nine of the last 10 clashes. However, it was the Bulldogs who had the last laugh in their most recent encounter.
The Bulldogs have beaten the Dragons, Titans, and Eels in their first three games and look in excellent shape ahead of this clash. This could be a close contest, and whichever team comes out on top, the margin is likely to be narrow.
Official Squads
Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Samuel Stonestreet 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Kayal Iro 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Oregon Kaufusi 11. Briton Nikora 12. Teig Wilton 13. Cameron McInnes 14. Daniel Atkinson 15. Siosifa Talakai 16. Braden Hamlin-Uele 17. Tuku Hau Tapuha
Bulldogs: 1. Connor Tracey 2. Blake Wilson 3. Bronson Xerri 4. Stephen Crichton 5. Marcelo Montoya 6. Bailey Hayward 7. Toby Sexton 8. Max King 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Josh Curran 11. Jaeman Salmon 12. Jacob Preston 13. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 14. Kurt Mann 15. Harry Hayes 16. Sitili Tupouniua 17. Kurtis Morrin
Manly Sea Eagles vs Parramatta Eels
Two teams from opposite ends of the table will kick off Sunday's action. The third-placed Sea Eagles will welcome the Eels at Brookvale Oval on Sunday evening. After losing to the Tigers, Storm, and Bulldogs, the Eels will look to arrest their slump against a Sea Eagles side that has won two out of their first three assignments.
The Manly side dispatched Raiders 40-12 in their last outing. Reuben Garrick racked up a whopping 28 points alone as the Sea Eagles handed the Raiders their first defeat of the season. It seems unlikely that they will lose momentum against a struggling Eels side at home.
Official Squads
Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Reuben Garrick 5. Lehi Hopoate 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Josh Aloiai 9. Lachlan Croker 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho 11. Haumole Olakau'atu 12. Ben Trbojevic 13. Jake Trbojevic 14. Jazz Tevaga 15. Corey Waddell 16. Ethan Bullemor 17. Nathan Brown
Eels: 1. Isaiah Iongi 2. Josh Addo-Carr 3. Viliami Penisini 4. Zac Lomax 5. Jordan Samrani 6. Dylan Brown 7. Dean Hawkins 8. Joe Ofahengaue 9. Joey Lussick 10. Junior Paulo 11. Shaun Lane 12. Jack Williams 13. J'maine Hopgood 14. Ryley Smith 15. Matt Doorey 16. Kitione Kautoga 17. Ryan Matterson
Wests Tigers vs New Zealand Warriors
The Tigers and Warriors will renew their rivalry to close out the week’s action. Both sides have won two of their first three matches this season, setting the stage for a competitive clash between two teams in similar form.
Wests return to the comfort of Campbelltown Stadium after enjoying two away wins. However, they will be looking to register their first home win of the season, having lost to the Knights in week one. The Warriors have also won back-to-back matches after an opening defeat, so they will enter the fray brimming with confidence.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck’s injury, however, comes as a major blow to the visitors. We are confident of the home team winning this battle.
Official Squads
Tigers: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Adam Doueihi 4. Starford To'a 5. Charlie Staines 6. Lachlan Galvin 7. Jarome Luai 8. Terrell May 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. Fonua Pole 11. Samuela Fainu 12. Alex Seyfarth 13. Alex Twal 14. Tallyn Da Silva 15. Royce Hunt 16. Jack Bird 17. Sione Fainu
Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Taine Tuaupiki 3. Ali Leiataua 4. Adam Pompey 5. Edward Kosi 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Luke Metcalf 8. James Fisher-Harris 9. Wayde Egan 10. Mitchell Barnett 11. Kurt Capewell 12. Marata Niukore 13. Erin Clark 14. Dylan Walker 15. Jackson Ford 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Leka Halasima
