Newcastle Knights vs Parramatta Eels
Betting sites are backing the Knights to get Round 11 off to a strong start when they take on the Eels at home this Friday night.
Adam O’Brien’s side, however, threw away a 14-point lead against the Titans in their previous outing to suffer a narrow defeat. Meanwhile, Parramatta remain rooted to the bottom of the ladder after suffering their seventh defeat of the season against the Dolphins.
Although the Eels have won four of their last five encounters with the Knights, the home side are more than likely to come out on top this time and pile further pressure on the visitors.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs Sydney Roosters
The Bulldogs remain the team to beat in the 2025 NRL after seeing off an in-form Canberra Raiders unit, just as we predicted last week. Now they must keep the momentum against a Sydney Roosters side that is fresh off a bye.
Written off at halftime after trailing 20–0 and being thoroughly outplayed, the Bulldogs roared back with a brilliant second-half performance against the Raiders that reinforced their credentials for a first title in 21 years.
The Roosters have won 10 of their last 12 clashes with the Bulldogs, though their only two losses in that run came in their last two visits to Bulldogs territory. We’re picking they’ll taste a third this weekend.

Dolphins vs New Zealand Warriors
The Dolphins look to build momentum with back-to-back victories when they welcome the red-hot Warriors to Suncorp Stadium on Saturday. Kristian Woolf’s men snapped their losing run with a narrow four-point win over cellar-dwellers Parramatta, but the performance left plenty to be desired.
New Zealand, on the other hand, climbed into the top two with their fourth straight win. They pulled off a nail-biting one-point escape over the Dragons, earned with their only second-half point of the game.
All four previous meetings between these teams have gone the way of the hosts. But given the Warriors’ current form, that streak could be under serious threat this weekend.

North Queensland Cowboys vs Manly Sea Eagles
The Sea Eagles and Cowboys will renew hostilities in a Queensland derby this Saturday. Manly thrashed the Cowboys 42–12 in Round 1, but the Sea Eagles now find themselves chasing their rivals on the NRL ladder heading into this clash.
It’s no surprise the Cowboys are favourites across betting apps—five wins from their last six says it all, with their only slip-up coming in the Magic Round at Suncorp. The Sea Eagles, on the contrary, have won only once in their last five matches.
This should be a close contest between the two Queensland outfits, but we expect the Cowboys to have the last laugh in this one.
Official Squads
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Zac Laybutt 4. Viliami Vailea 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Jaxon Purdue 7. Tom Dearden 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Coen Hess 11. John Bateman 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Sam McIntyre 14. Harrison Edwards 15. Thomas Mikaele 16. Griffin Neame 17. Kai O'Donnell.
Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Reuben Garrick 5. Lehi Hopoate 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Ethan Bullemor 9. Jazz Tevaga 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho 11. Cronulla Sharks vs Melbourne Storm
Saturday night footy brings a blockbuster showdown at Shark Park, with third-placed Storm visiting the fifth-placed Sharks.
This has been an even battle in recent years with both sides claiming two wins from their last four meetings. The form guide also points to a cracking contest: the Sharks have won four of their last five, while Storm have picked up three in that span.
The Storm cruised to a dominant 64–0 win over the Tigers in their last outing. Yes, the same Tigers side that handed the Sharks their only defeat in the past five games. With that kind of firepower, Melbourne look well-equipped to spoil the party at Shark Park.
Official Squads
Sharks: 1. William Kennedy 2. Samuel Stonestreet 3. Jesse Ramien 4. KL Iro 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Oregon Kaufusi 11. Briton Nikora 12. Billy Burns 13. Cameron McInnes 14. Daniel Atkinson 15. Jesse Colquhoun 16. Siosifa Talakai 17. Braden Hamlin-Uele.
Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. Sualauvi Faalogo 3. Grant Anderson 4. Nick Meaney 5. Xavier Coates 6. Cameron Munster 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Bronson Garlick 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero 14. Tyran Wishart 15. Alec MacDonald 16. Tui Kamikamica 17. Joe Chan.
Brisbane Broncos vs St George Illawarra Dragons
The Broncos have lost Ben Hunt to a hamstring injury for more than a month—a huge setback ahead of their clash with the Dragons, who have shown flashes of brilliance but struggled to turn performances into points.
St George Illawarra were denied by a single point against the Warriors last weekend, with Luke Metcalf’s field goal the difference between the two sides. They will hope for better luck against the Broncos who have won only once in their last five outings.
The last time the Dragons visited Brisbane, they came away with a narrow victory. With the Broncos struggling for form, Shane Flanagan’s side will fancy their chances of repeating that result.
Official Squads
Broncos: 1. Selwyn Cobbo 2. Deine Mariner 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Gehamat Shibasaki 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ezra Mam 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Patrick Carrigan 9. Billy Walters 10. Payne Haas 11. Xavier Willison 12. Jordan Riki 13. Kobe Hetherington 14. Cory Paix 15. Corey Jensen 16. Brendan Piakura 17. Fletcher Baker.
Dragons: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Tyrell Sloan 3. Moses Suli 4. Valentine Holmes 5. Corey Allan 6. Kyle Flanagan 7. Lyhkan King-Togia 8. Jack de Belin 9. Damien Cook 10. David Klemmer 11. Dylan Egan 12. Jaydn Su'A 13. Hamish Stewart 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Luciano Leilua 16. Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga 17. Blake Lawrie.
Canberra Raiders vs Gold Coast Titans
The Titans will be looking to make amends for their Round 7 collapse when they head to Canberra to face the Raiders this weekend.
After surging to a 16–0 lead, the Titans saw their advantage slip as Canberra crossed just before half-time. The visitors then dominated the second half to claim a 30–20 win—a crushing defeat that became part of the Gold Coast’s six-game losing streak.
The Titans, currently 15th, now head into this game on the back of a crucial away win against Newcastle,. The Raiders, meanwhile, are fourth and will be eager to bounce back from their defeat against the Bulldogs.
Official Squads
Raiders: 1. Kaeo Weekes 2. Savelio Tamale 3. Matthew Timoko 4. Sebastian Kris 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Corey Horsburgh 9. Tom Starling 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Zac Hosking 13. Morgan Smithies 14. Owen Pattie 15. Simi Sasagi 16. Josh Papali'i 17. Ata Mariota.
Titans: 1. Jaylan De Groot 2. Alofiana Khan-Pereira 3. Brian Kelly 4. Jojo Fifita 5. Phillip Sami 6. AJ Brimson 7. Jayden Campbell 8. Moeaki Fotuaika 9. Sam Verrills 10. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 11. Klese Haas 12. Beau Fermor 13. Tino Fa'asuamaleaui 14. Kieran Foran 15. Jaimin Jolliffe 16. Chris Randall 17. Josiah Pahulu.
Wests Tigers vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
The Tigers and Rabbitohs head into Round 11 on very different trajectories following last week’s matches.
Benji Marshall’s men are reeling from a crushing 64–0 defeat at the hands of the Storm, unable to find answers against a ruthless display from Ryan Papenhuyzen—once a Tigers star himself.
The Rabbitohs, meanwhile, overturned a 14-point deficit against the Broncos to pick up their fifth win of the season.
Wests have managed just two wins from their last 15 outings at Campbelltown Stadium. Combine that with eight losses in their last 10 against the Rabbitohs, and it’s hard to see the tide turning.
