Parramatta Eels vs Dolphins
With one win apiece from their previous two meetings, the Eels and Dolphins resume a fledgling rivalry this week. This time, both clubs enter the contest reeling from defeats and languishing in the bottom half of the ladder.
Even though the Eels are anchored at 17th at the moment, NRL betting sites are treating Jason Ryles’ men as the favourites in this tie. They have won two of their last four games and have shown signs of recent resurgence.
The visitors, meanwhile, have lost back-back matches after a three-game winning streak. Defensive frailties have been costly for the Dolphins, with 76 points conceded across their last two outings.
Official Squads

Newcastle Knights vs Gold Coast Titans
Just as we forecast, the Titans were outclassed by the Bulldogs in Magic Round. They now head to McDonald Jones Stadium to face the Knights — a ground where they haven’t recorded a win since 2016.
Kieran Foran’s potential return would provide a much-needed boost for the visitors, though they’ll still be without Tom Weaver and Jaimin Jolliffe. The Knights, fresh from a victory over the Rabbitohs, boast a clean bill of health ahead of this clash.
One of the Titans’ only two wins this season came against the Knights in the reverse fixture, but they now head into this clash on the back of five consecutive defeats. Unsurprisingly, betting apps have little faith in an away win here.
Official Squads

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Brisbane Broncos
Is the Wayne Bennett magic fading in South Sydney? After hitting the ground running, the Rabbitohs have now lost four in a row under the veteran coach. Their upcoming opponents, the Broncos, haven’t fared much better, losing two of their last three outings.
Neither side reached double figures in their last match. The Rabbitohs managed just four points against the Knights, while the Broncos were limited to eight by a Panthers unit that had been out of sorts earlier in the season.
All signs point to a tighter contest than the pre-match odds suggest. That said, the Broncos were beaten the last time they faced the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium.
Official Squads

Canberra Raiders vs Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
GIO Stadium is set to host a showpiece standoff between the first- and second-placed teams in the NRL on Saturday afternoon. The Canberra Raiders will host the Canterbury Bulldogs and hope to leapfrog their guests with a commanding win.
The capital side is riding high on confidence after securing an excellent away win against the Storm in Melbourne. They will now look to back it up with another statement performance against a Bulldogs side that returned to form last week with a commanding 20-point win over the Titans.
The Raiders escaped their bruising battle with the Storm injury-free, while the Bulldogs have no fresh concerns of their own — though Sitili Tupouniua remains sidelined for another month. Expect this one to be tight, but the Bulldogs to get over the line and hold on to top spot.
Official Squads
Raiders: 1. Kaeo Weekes 2. Savelio Tamale 3. Matthew Timoko 4. Sebastian Kris 5. Xavier Savage 6. Ethan Strange 7. Jamal Fogarty 8. Corey Horsburgh 9. Tom Starling 10. Joseph Tapine 11. Hudson Young 12. Matt Nicholson 13. Morgan Smithies 14. Owen Pattie 15. Zac Hosking 16. Josh Papali'i 17. Ata Mariota
Bulldogs: 1. Connor Tracey 2. Jacob Kiraz 3. Bronson Xerri 4. Stephen Crichton 5. Marcelo Montoya 6. Matt Burton 7. Toby Sexton 8. Max King 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 11. Viliame Kikau 12. Jaeman Salmon 13. Kurt Mann 14. Bailey Hayward 15. Harry Hayes 16. Kurtis Morrin 17. Lipoi Hopoi
St George Illawarra Dragons vs New Zealand Warriors
The in-form Warriors are eyeing a fourth straight win this weekend when they head to WIN Stadium, while the Dragons try to stop the rot after two defeats in a row.
The Warriors have won two of their last three visits to WIN Stadium, though they were soundly beaten on their most recent trip. Still, the current form gap between the two sides should give the New Zealanders confidence heading into this clash.
Only the Raiders and Storm — currently sitting second and fourth in the standings — have managed to beat the Warriors this season. In contrast, the Dragons are battling both form and injuries in the forward pack, and another disappointing result could be on the cards.
Official Squads
Dragons: 1. Clinton Gutherson 2. Tyrell Sloan 3. Moses Suli 4. Valentine Holmes 5. Corey Allan 6. Kyle Flanagan 7. Lyhkan King-Togia 8. Toby Couchman 9. Damien Cook 10. David Klemmer 11. Dylan Egan 12. Jaydn Su'A 13. Hamish Stewart 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Jack de Belin 16. Luciano Leilua 17. Loko Pasifiki Tonga
Warriors: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Taine Tuaupiki 3. Adam Pompey 4. Ali Leiataua 5. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Luke Metcalf 8. Marata Niukore 9. Wayde Egan 10. Mitchell Barnett 11. Kurt Capewell 12. Leka Halasima 13. Erin Clark 14. Samuel Healey 15. Jackson Ford 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Bunty Afoa
North Queensland Cowboys vs Penrith Panthers
Saturday night’s NRL action concludes with the Cowboys taking on the Panthers. Ivan Cleary’s side suffered a home defeat to North Queensland earlier in the season, but a dominant recent win against the Broncos may have restored their confidence ahead of the rematch.
After a sluggish start to 2025, the four-time defending champions Penrith finally roared to life with a 32-8 demolition of Brisbane. It was just their third victory of the season, but with two wins from their last three outings, the Panthers have reason to believe that they can still turn their season around.
The Cowboys will not be an easy assignment, however. They may have fallen just short against the Warriors last week, but with four wins from their last five — including one over Penrith at CommBank Stadium — confidence in Todd Payten’s camp remains high.
Official Squads
Cowboys: 1. Scott Drinkwater 2. Robert Derby 3. Jaxon Purdue 4. Viliami Vailea 5. Murray Taulagi 6. Tom Dearden 7. Jake Clifford 8. Jordan McLean 9. Reece Robson 10. Jason Taumalolo 11. John Bateman 12. Jeremiah Nanai 13. Reuben Cotter 14. Sam McIntyre 15. Harrison Edwards 16. Griffin Neame 17. Coen Hess
Panthers: 1. Dylan Edwards 2. Paul Alamoti 3. Izack Tago 4. Luke Garner 5. Thomas Jenkins 6. Blaize Talagi 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. Liam Henry 11. Isaiah Papali'i 12. Liam Martin 13. Isaah Yeo 14. Trent Toelau 15. Lindsay Smith 16. Mavrik Geyer 17. Luron Patea
Melbourne Storm vs Wests Tigers
The Storm will need to regroup after a late defeat to the Raiders as they prepare to face the Tigers. Wests are chasing a third straight win, but breaking a seven-match losing run against the Storm will be no easy task.
Melbourne suffered a golden point heartbreak as Jamal Fogarty nailed a penalty from right in front to win it for Canberra. The Tigers, meanwhile, claimed a thrilling 34-28 victory over the Dragons, inspired by brilliant displays from Jahream Bula and Jarome Luai.
The Tigers have also had heartbreaks in close matches this season, but in recent games, they seemed to have turned back this trend. After close losses to the Knights and Warriors, they've responded with dramatic victories against the Sharks and Dragons.
Official Squads
Storm: 1. Ryan Papenhuyzen 2. Sua Faalogo 3. Grant Anderson 4. Nick Meaney 5. Xavier Coates 6. Cam Munster 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Harry Grant 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero 14. Tyran Wishart 15. Alec MacDonald 16. Tui Kamikamica 17. Joe Chan
Tigers: 1. Jahream Bula 2. Sunia Turuva 3. Adam Doueihi 4. Solomona Faatape 5. Charlie Staines 6. Lachlan Galvin 7. Jarome Luai 8. Terrell May 9. Api Koroisau 10. Fonua Pole 11. Samuela Fainu 12. Alex Seyfarth 13. Alex Twal 14. Tallyn Da Silva 15. Royce Hunt 16. Jack Bird 17. Sione Fainu.
Manly Sea Eagles vs Cronulla Sharks
The Sea Eagles return to action following a bye week and will host the sixth-placed Sharks at 4 Pines Park on Sunday — a side sitting just one spot above them in the standings.
When these teams met at Optus Stadium in Round 6, it was Will Kennedy and Sam Stonestreet who made the difference. The Cronulla side will have both of them available for selection once again, but second-rowers Teig Wilton and Siosifa Talakai will miss the trip to Brookvale.
While Manly may have home-ground advantage at 4 Pines Park, it’s Cronulla who boast the better recent record there — having won their last three visits. The Sharks will be aiming to extend that streak to four straight victories.
The Sea Eagles remain favourites on PlayUp, but the Sharks’ form suggests the smart money could be on the underdogs.
Official Squads
Sea Eagles: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Tommy Talau 3. Tolutau Koula 4. Reuben Garrick 5. Lehi Hopoate 6. Luke Brooks 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Josh Aloiai 9. Jake Simpkin 10. Siosiua Taukeiaho 11. Haumole Olakau'atu 12. Ben Trbojevic 13. Jake Trbojevic 14. Jazz Tevaga 15. Corey Waddell 16. Ethan Bullemor 17. Nathan Brown
Sharks: 1. Will Kennedy 2. Samuel Stonestreet 3. Jesse Ramien 4. KL Iro 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Braydon Trindall 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Oregon Kaufusi 11. Briton Nikora 12. Billy Burns 13. Cameron McInnes 14. Daniel Atkinson 15. Jesse Colquhuon 16. Braden Hamlin-Uele 17. Thomas Hazelton
