Round 13 of the NRL kicks off just after Origin I, and with player fatigue a factor, coaches may face tough selection calls. But for punters, there’s a chance to cash in across betting sites. Here’s how a multi featuring the Dragons, Knights, Storm, and Robert Derby could return over 25x your stake.
NRL 2025 Best Tips and Multi Bet of the Weekend | Round 13
St George Illawarra Dragons vs Newcastle Knights
May 30th, 20:00 AEST, Jubilee Stadium, Sydney
Newcastle are currently the NRL’s most toothless attack, registering a league-low average of just 13.91 points per game. Their matches have seen an average combined score of just under 33 points.
The Dragons have not been the most explosive team in the division either, as they failed to score more than 20 points in three of their last five games.
So, betting on the under market is the obvious thing to do here. The under has come through in eight of the last 10 meetings between these two sides. Bet365 has set the points line at 44.5 and we like the look of the under at $1.91.
Gold Coast Titans vs Melbourne Storm
May 31st, 15:30 AEST, Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast
It’s redemption time for both the Titans and the Storm as they face off at Cbus Super Stadium this Saturday. The hosts have one win to show for their last seven outings, while Melbourne have lost three of their last six, including their last game against the Sharks.
Scoring hasn’t been an issue for Des Hasler’s men this season. The Titans average 20.8 points over their last five games, but their defence has been a major concern. They have leaked 35.6 points per match during the same period.
NRL betting sites have assigned a -10 handicap to the Storm, which we see them hitting easily in this game.
North Queensland Cowboys vs Wests Tigers
May 31st, 17:30 AEST, QCB Stadium, Townsville
A combined 148 points were scored across last season’s two meetings, both won by the Cowboys. Another open, high-scoring affair looks likely this time around, especially with attacking threats like Scott Drinkwater, Jaxon Purdue, Jahream Bula, and Sunia Turuva in action.
With recruits Terrell May, Jarome Luai, and Turuva adding firepower, the Wests Tigers look much stronger in 2025 — though they’re still leaking 25 points a game.
Cowboys winger Robert Derby has been in excellent scoring form lately. Having crossed the line six times in just four games at QCB Stadium, he’s our pick to open the scoring.
