Last week’s EPL multi was, it’s safe to say, a bit of a flop, with all three of our legs failing to hit the mark. Of course, the reality of multi betting is that whether you miss out on one leg or every leg, the bet fails to hit, but this week we will look to bounce back in Matchweek 34. Check out our three bets below.
English Premier League Multi bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 34

EPL Multi Bet of the Weekend
Manchester City vs Aston Villa
Wednesday 23rd of April, 4.00am AEST, Etihad Stadium
This is a massive game to start the week’s Premier League action, with both Manchester City and Aston Villa embroiled in a five-team battle for three Champions League spots. It’s easy to see why Manchester City are favoured on their home turf – they are a quality team – but betting sites are not giving Aston Villa the credit they deserve after their recent run of form. They have now won five consecutive games with a 13-2 aggregate in that time, have also taken it up to PSG in the Champions League, and last weekend beat Newcastle 4-1. They are just about the in-form side in the Premier League right now, so the even money odds on offer for them to either draw or win this game looks very enticing.
Wolverhampton vs Leicester City
Saturday 26th of April, 11.00pm AEST, Molineux Stadium
Back to our old faithful here, and why not? Leicester City failing to score has been a pretty reliable part of our EPL multi tips in recent weeks, and though it failed a couple of weeks ago when they scored two goals against the struggling Brighton and Hove Albion, they returned to their offensive ineptitude last week, failing to record a single shot on target against Liverpool. That now makes it nine out of their last ten Premier League games without a goal, and while the Wolves are not exactly Liverpool, their results have been every bit as good as the inevitable champions. Wolverhampton have won five games in a row against admittedly feeble opposition, last weekend recording their second clean sheet in four weeks, that one against Manchester United. Disappointing as Man U’s season has been, they are still a hell of a lot better than Leicester City, and with international betting sites, Victorian bookmakers and everyone in between offering better than even money for City to fail to score, this is once again a bet that is impossible to refuse.
Newcastle vs Ipswich Town
Saturday 26th of April, 11.00pm AEST, St. James Park
It is no secret that Ipswich Town is not very good, and based on their performances against top teams in recent months they seem destined for another hefty defeat this weekend. There is a runaway top seven in the Premier League right now, a group of which Newcastle is a part, and Ipswich Town’s record against them makes for dire reading. In their last ten games against that group, the league’s 19th-placed teams has lost six by multiple goals, with an aggregate score of 26-9. Included within that is a 4-0 loss to Newcastle at home, and given how good a team the Magpies are at St. James’ Park that does not bode particularly well for the visitors this weekend. Newcastle will be fuming after a dreadful 4-1 loss last weekend and need to win to remain not just in 3rd, but inside the Champions League spots. They should be winning this one by multiple goals, and for a little added value we are going to go with the -2.5 at relatively long odds to conclude our EPL multi for the weekend.
