EPL Multi Bet of the Weekend

We hit on another EPL multi during the last set of Premier League games, with Leicester City failing to score again anchoring our three legs. With the Foxes having now failed to score in an incredible six consecutive games, it’ll come as no surprise that they once again find themselves in our bets this week. Take a look at the reasoning behind that one – if you need any more – as well as the other two EPL multi tips for the week below.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Aston Villa

Thursday 3rd of April, 6.45am AEDT, American Express Stadium

We kick off our EPL multi for the week – well, not really actually given that all three of these games start at the same time – with a look at the in-form Brighton, who come into this pivotal clash with Aston Villa on the back of five consecutive Premier League wins.

Of note is the fact that they have scored at least 2 goals in every single one of those victories, and if you add in the two FA Cup games they have scored in that time that streak extends to seven. Since losing 7-0 to Nottingham, this has been one of the best teams in the business, and at virtually even money to score multiple goals with Australian betting sites they look like great value to do it for an eighth time in a row.

Southampton vs Crystal Palace

Thursday 3rd of April, 6.45am AEDT, St. Mary’s Stadium

On the other end of the form spectrum is Southampton, who sit dead last by a large margin and have been conceding goals at a rate of knots of late – even more so than usual. They lost 2-1 to Wolverhampton in their latest outing, and incredibly, that was only the second time in their last ten Premier League games that they have conceded less than three goals – the other coming against Ipswich Town. Crystal Palace are no world beaters but they are in some really good form themselves, having won three in a row and six of their last eight. Three goals has nonetheless been rare for them in that time, but at long odds on the betting apps against this leaky Southampton defence they might just be able to get there to give our EPL multi a big value boost.

Manchester City vs Leicester City

Thursday 3rd of April, 6.45am AEDT, Etihad Stadium

Finally to our old faithful, Leicester City. They say death and taxes are the only certainties in life, but in recent times you can add Leicester City failing to score to that list. Their last goal in the Premier League was now over two months ago, and while Manchester City has not been the tightest defensive unit by any means this season, they don’t really have to be against this lot. The odds are getting shorter by the week for the Foxes to go scoreless, but they’re at even money in this one which still looks like good value.
