English Premier League Multi bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 23

Now well and truly into the second half of the season, the EPL continues this weekend with ten big games across Matchday 23. Below, we’ve put together a three-leg multi for the weekend’s action, banking on a couple of low-scoring games and a goal from one of the most in-form players in the league.

26th of January, 2am AEDT, American Express Stadium

Everton have had troubles finding the back of the net all season, and through 21 games have managed just 18 goals – less than every other side but the bottom-placed Southampton. They have managed to limit the damage at the other end of the field though, and as a result they have the lowest average total score in the league by some margin, scoring or conceding just 46 goals all season. Brighton have not exactly been involved in the most high-scoring matches either of late, with just one of their last four Premier League clashes seeing more than two goals scored, so with both those factors in mind the under 2.5 total match goals at $1.88 with PlayUp looks like a solid bet to start the weekend multi.

26th of January, 2am AEDT, St. Mary’s Stadium

Speaking of teams that struggle to score, Southampton is the only side in the Premier League with less goals than Everton this season, having managed only 15 through their 22 games. Newcastle, meanwhile, has conceded the fourth least goals in the league, and that’s after giving up four to Bournemouth. The Magpies will be keen to atone for that against the worst team at the top level, and expect Martin Dúbravka to be as keen as ever to pick up what would be an incredible sixth clean sheet in Newcastle’s last eight League games at good odds with local Victorian bookmakers and international betting sites alike.

26th of January, 2am AEDT, Molineux Stadium

After scoring just once in an eight-game stretch from October to December, Kai Havertz has recaptured his goalscoring best, finding the back of the net in three of his last four games. He gets an excellent chance to continue that streak this weekend when the Gunners takes on a Wolves side which has conceded more goals than any other team in the league. With Havertz in such good form and his opposition so weak defensively, he looks like great value to score once again at significantly better than even money odds with most betting sites.
