EPL 2024/25 Multi Bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 37

We weren’t too far off on the multi betting front last week, hitting two of the three legs, but unfortunately Yoane Wissa’s failure to find the back of the net ultimately cost us the win. But with just two weeks to go in the Premier League season, it’s back to the drawing board for Matchweek 37 as we hunt around for the best value for our penultimate multi of the season. Check out all three of our EPL multi tips for the weekend’s action below.

Saturday 17th of May, 4.30am AEST, Villa Park

Aston Villa and Tottenham come into this game both in vastly different form and with vastly different motivation levels, with the home team fighting for a spot in the Premier League and the visitors with nothing to play for and a far more important Europa League final next week to worry about. Villa should be winning it regardless, but with that added incentive (and lack thereof for their opposition), it’s easy to see the Spurs failing to put up much of a fight. Aston Villa have managed clean sheets in each of their last two games while Tottenham couldn’t even score against Crystal Palace last week (and had just one shot on target at that), and with all that factored in the odds available for the visitors to fail to score make this look like a very nice first EPL multi tip.

Monday 19th of May, 1.30am AEST, Emirates Stadium

Since winning the Carabou Cup back in March, Newcastle have hardly skipped a beat, winning six of their eight games and drawing another, including an impressive 2-0 win over Chelsea last weekend. They are playing like the best team in the competition outside of Liverpool, and are bearing down on the 2nd placed Arsenal, who have not been quite as convincing. The Gunners have done enough to hang onto 2nd for the time being and were solid in their 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend, but they are now 0-2-1 in their last three games. Though these are two quality teams that are sitting side by side in the Premier League standings, Newcastle is playing a lot better than the Gunners at the minute. It’s very tempting to bet on them to win at over $3.50 with some international betting sites to add some value to our EPL multi, but we’ll be a little more responsible and just take them to draw at close to even money.

Tuesday 20th of May, 5.00am AEST, American Express Stadium

A couple of Liverpool’s standard goal scorers have not been finding the net with all that much regularity of late, but one man who has gone the opposite way is Luis Díaz. The Colombian winger has been inn a purple patch of late, scoring in four of the last five games in which he has played – a couple of which he didn’t even play full games in. Betting sites expect this to be a high-scoring game, with the goal line set at around 3.5, so there is a good chance that at least one or two Reds players will find their name on the scoresheet come the end of the 90 minutes. Based on how Díaz is playing of late, he looks like great value to be one of them.
