EPL 2024/25 Multi Bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 36

Not a great week on the multi betting front for us last week, with none of our three legs either hitting or really going particularly close to hitting. We’ll look to bounce back this weekend with three bets kicking off with the Ipswich Town vs Brentford game, while our last two legs focus on the biggest games of the weekend – the first between Newcastle and Chelsea, a pivotal clash in the race for Champions League spots, and the second between the top two teams in Liverpool and Arsenal. Check out the bets below.

Sunday 11th of May, 12.00am AEST, Portman Road Stadium

Brentford have been in scintillating goal scoring form of late, and Yoane Wissa has been one of the major reasons why. They have booted ten goals in their last three games and Wissa has scored in each of those, while he was also their solitary goal scorer in the game before that, a 1-1 draw against Arsenal. This weekend, they play one of the leakiest teams in the league in Ipswich Town, who have conceded multiple goals in five consecutive games and nine goals in their last three, so Brentford should be finding the back of the net at least a couple of times, if not three or four. With Wissa having scored in four games in a row and paying better than even money with betting sites like Unibet to do it again against a pretty hapless defence, this looks like great value to kick off our EPL multi for the weekend.

Sunday 11th of May, 9,00pm AEST, St. James Park

Newcastle have had a couple of disappointing results over the last few weeks as they fight for a Champions League spot, but their form at St. James Park has remained very good throughout that time. The draw and loss they have suffered in the past three weeks have both been away from home; at home, they have won five in a row, and their last three results there have been 4-1, 5-0 and 3-0. It’s hard to imagine them notching up as comfortable a victory as that against Chelsea in a high stakes game, but given their home form they look like good value at better than even money with international betting sites to win this one and probably secure a Champions League spot in the process.

Monday 12th of May, 1.30am AEST, Anfield

Our EPL multi ends on another massive game when the top two sides go head to head at Anfield, and while Liverpool have already secured the title, it’s still hard to imagine them losing this one. Their odds to win or draw are not all that good, but with a couple of good value legs above this looks like a safe way to round out the multi. Arsenal are a good team, but Liverpool are heads and shoulders above the chasing pack, particularly at home, where they have lost just one of their 17 games this season. They’ve also only drawn two, winning the other 14, so the value on offer for them to win is probably pretty good too, but with a couple of longer legs above we will settle for the safer double chance option here.
