Our EPL multi last weekend could hardly have gone closer to hitting, and if you got on board then you have every right to feel aggrieved. Two of the three legs hit while the third – Aston Villa to win or draw – was on track to right up until the 94th minute when Matheus Nunes foiled our nearly $11 multi with a game-winner. Unfortunately that’s the way things go with multi betting, but we get a chance to bounce back this weekend with a couple of value selections across our three legs. Check them out below.
English Premier League Multi bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 35

EPL Multi Bet of the Weekend
Leicester City vs Southampton
Sunday 4th of May, 12.00am AEST, King Power Stadium
Leicester City scoring 0 goals has been a staple of our EPL multis for weeks, and while it may seem repetitive it has proven to be a relatively fruitful bet. They’ve now failed to score in 11 of their last 12 Premier League games, and while this weekend should prove a good opportunity to buck that trend against the only team in the league that might be worse than them, their odds to fail to score once again look too good to refuse. EPL betting sites like PlayUp are offering a huge $4.10 for them to end the game goalless, an incredible number given how impotent they have been in attack for months and months now. The Southampton defence is not exactly the most imposing in the league and don’t often keep clean sheets, and while they may not here either, the value is clearly there at in excess of $4.
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Newcastle
Sunday 4th of May, 11.00pm AEST, American Express Stadium
A high-scoring game in this one looks like one of the best EPL tips of the weekend, with both Brighton and Newcastle having played some really high-scoring games of late. Brighton’s last three games have seen 4, 6 and 5 goals scored, while Newcastle’s last four have yielded 5 goals three times, and 3 goals last weekend. Despite that, international betting sites have set the over 3.5 goal line at well over even money. Given they’ve both been doing it most weeks for a month, often quite comfortably, this looks like a great leg for our EPL multi.
Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest
Tuesday 6th of May, 5.00am AEST, Selhurst Park Stadium
Chris Wood has had a really good season for Nottingham Forest, scoring 19 goals in his 31 to date to have him right up there among the leading scorers in the Premier League. Like his team, a lot of that scoring came earlier in the season and has dried up a little of late, but last weekend he returned to the score sheet with a goal against Tottenham – his first since February – though he did miss a couple of games in that time with a hip injury. Chris Wood’s scoring form this season has come in dribs and drabs, but often when he’s scored he’s done so in bunches, twice stringing together four consecutive games with at least one goal. With two games now under his belt since returning from that injury and a goal in the most recent of them, it would be no surprise to see him again find the score sheet at close to $3 with most Victorian bookmakers.
