AFL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Gather Round awaits us in Round 5 of the 2025 AFL season where all nine games are played across South Australia. Coming into Round 5, the Hawks and Lions are the two undefeated teams. Meanwhile, the Blues, Demons and Eagles are still yet to register their first win of the season. I’ve gone through all the games and found you all a three-leg multi that I’m confident in. My free AFL multi tips have landed at MyBettingAustralia.

North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Gold Coast Suns

April 12th, 12.35pm, Barossa Park

The Kangaroos will be looking to avoid their third straight loss after a very disappointing effort last time out against the Swans. They were lacking in several different areas and I can’t see anything changing as they take on the Suns who have won their last three.

Yes, the Suns probably shouldn’t have won their game last time out against the Crows, but in the end, it went down as an official win. With the way the Kangaroos are playing, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Suns pile on a few points here. I’m looking specifically at Ben King, who has kicked an average of 4 goals per game. Bet365 is offering $1.87 for King to score 3+ goals.

Western Bulldogs vs Brisbane Lions

April 12th, 4.15pm, Norwood Oval

The Bulldogs haven’t been super consistent this year going win-loss-win-loss to open their season. Last time out, they went down to the Dockers. The Lions, on the other hand, are one of two teams that remain undefeated as we head into Round 5.

With Norwood Oval not really benefiting either team, I think the Lions should get an easy victory here. You can play it safe if you want, going for the Lions to win, but I think they’ll cover the line. The line is currently -12.5 for the Lions with Unibet @ $1.90.

Melbourne Demons vs Essendon Bombers

April 12th, 7.35pm, Adelaide Oval

This looks to be one of the more intriguing matchups of Round 5. The 17th-placed (and winless) Demons face off against the 14th-placed Bombers. The Bombers finally got a win on the board last time out after taking down the Power 72-60.

Meanwhile, the Demons have seemingly had blowout loss after blowout loss. The Bombers are coming off a bye, but do have a few injuries. That shouldn’t stop them though and I think they’ll be able to take their winning streak out to two. MidasBet is currently offering $1.78 for the Bombers to win.
