AFL Multi Bet of the Weekend

The AFL continues on and we are treated to some epic clashes in Round 3. We are treated to eight games and teams will be fighting hard to ensure they get their 2025 season off to the best start possible. I’ve combed through all the games and found a three-leg multi that I’m confident in. My free AFL multi tips have landed at MyBettingAustralia.

Carlton Blues vs Western Bulldogs

March 28th, 7.40pm, Marvel Stadium

The Blues need a win, it may only be Round 3, but it’s getting desperate. They were shell shocked by the Tigers in their first game of the season and then last time out, they went down to the Hawks by 20 points. The Bulldogs also lost their last game.

It’s going to be a close one, but if the Blues stars, Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay, step up like we all know they can, I have to side with the Blues. MidasBet currently has the Bulldogs as the favourite though, so I’m looking for the Blues to cover the spread, just to be safe, Blues +1.5 @ $1.86.

Hawthorn Hawks vs GWS Giants

March 29th, 7.35pm, UTAS Stadium

It’s the game of the round, so I would be silly not to include this clash in my multi. We see two undefeated teams clash, with the Hawks currently 3-0 and the Giants are 2-0 after their bye last round. The Hawks come into this one as the favourites, but I do like the Giants chances as well.

With the likes of Kieren Briggs, Jesse Hogan and Jake Stringer all potentially taking the field in this one, I’m going with the Giants to cover the spread. Bet365 currently has the line at +12.5 for the Giants @ $1.91. I don’t think the Hawks will run away with this, especially with the fresh legs of the Giants.

Brisbane Lions vs Geelong Cats

March 29th, 7.35pm, Gabba

The Lions might not look as good as they did last season, but they have two wins in the books and will be looking to go 3-0 when they face the Cats up at the Gabba. The Cats suffered a close loss last time out and the trip up to Brisbane isn’t always the kindest, so there’s a lot to like about the Lions.

However, the Lions will need to improve if they want to topple the Cats. There’s a bit of weather that might come into play here and we usually do see a low scoring game between these two clubs. So, take the under total points for this one and PlayUp has the line at 154.5 @ $1.88.
