NRL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Round 24 is in the books and what a round it was! The Broncos rolled through the Eels, The Roosters put on a 2nd half masterclass against the Dolphins and the Knights rolled through the Bulldogs. Sadly we missed out first 2 legs last week but we are back this week with MyBettingAustralia’s NRL Multi of the week and we have found some value across Betting Sites on the Sharks vs Cowboys game, the Tigers and the Storm..

North Queensland Cowboys vs Cronulla Sharks

August 17th 19:50, Queensland Country Bank Stadium

For our first leg of the multi of the week, we look to the Cowboys hosting the Sharks. Both sides are coming into this one with some questions regarding their ability to compete with the best. The Cowboys were the team to beat until recently, losing their last 2 games, however, they have had a week of to prepare for this encounter vs the Sharks. The Sharks were also scrutinized recently, after being thrashed by the Warriors and Panthers as well as losing to the Sea Eagles as heavy favourites. however, they have since bounced back, beating the Rabbitohs and Titans.

Both sides are battling for a top 8 spot here, with just 1 win separating them. The Cowboys are not at full strength, with Holmes out, while the Sharks are missing Will Kennedy, Finucane and Wilton. Both sides play exciting footy and are desperate for the win, this should be a close one. That’s why I am taking either team by 1-12 @1.80 on Bet365.

Wests Tigers vs Dolphins

August 19th 15:00, CommBank Stadium

For our second leg of the multi of the week, we look to the Tigers hosting the Dolphins. The Tigers sit in last spot and hold a 10-game loss streak, while the Dolphins sit in 14th, with a 4-game loss streak. Despite the loss streak, the Tigers have showed signs of improvement recently, with Laurie looking dangerous in the 6 jersey, while Koroisau continues to be their star man. The big news here is that the Tigers come into this one fully fit, while this could not be further from the truth for the Dolphins.

The Dolphins will be without Lemuelu, Tabuai-Fidow, Kenny Bromwich, Stone, Marhsall King and potentially Jesse Bromwich, all of whom played last week. This is simply way too many injuries for a side as young as the Dolphins to cover for and I think all signs point to a Tigers win. That’s why I am taking the Tigers to win @1.50 on TopSport.

St George Illawarra Dragons vs Melbourne Storm

August 19th 19:35, Win Stadium

For our final leg of the multi we see the Dragons hosting the Storm. The Dragons are coming off a 12-point loss to the Rabbitohs, extending their losing streak to 3, while the Storm are coming off an impressive 42-point victory over the Raiders. As finals footy approaches, the top teams are kicking into gear, really separating themselves from the rest. The Storm are one of these sides and last week showed it, having no mercy for the Raiders. The Dragons on the other hand are out of finals contention and are missing Sua, De Belin and Bird. The Storm come into this one fully fit, recently welcoming back Katoa from injury who was amazing last week.

Craig Bellamy has a well-oiled machine in the Melbourne Storm, and he will be making sure they are playing the best footy of their season. The Storm are definitely a step behind the Panthers and even the Broncos and I think they will use a game like this to really let the league know that they are serious contenders. That’s why I am taking the Storm to win both halves @1.80 on Bet365.
