NRL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Round 12 is over and what a crazy weekend it was. We were spot on taking a safe line for 2 of our tips that actually won head-to-head but unfortunately, we couldn’t predict the Tigers’ incredible performance. We are back this week with MyBettingAustralia’s NRL Multi of the week and we have found some value across Betting Sites on the Eels’ right edge, the Warriors against the Broncos and the Raiders against the Rabbitohs.

Paramatta Eels vs North Queensland Cowboys

May 26th, 20:00, Commbank Stadium

For our first leg of the multi of the week, we look to the Eels hosting the Cowboys. The Eels are coming off an impressive victory over the league leader in the Rabbitohs while the Cowboys are coming off an embarrassing defeat to the Tigers where they conceded 66 points. This week the Cowboys are extremely depleted, losing Taulagi, Holmes, Cotter and Dearden to the Maroons. Without these players I think the Cowboys will struggle to compete in this one.

While the bookies have priced this in, they have failed to consider that Holmes and Taulagi make up the left edge and the Cowboys will be running 2 debutants out there. I think the Eels will terrorize this inexperience on the left edge and that’s why I am taking Sean Russell anytime @$1.91 on Topsport, priced far higher than Eels left winger Maika Sivo, who is just $1.57 on the same bookie. Russell has scored 6 tries in his short 6 game career and this price seems way overs for a team favoured by 13.5 points coming up against an edge combination with 0 first grade experience.

New Zealand Warriors vs Brisbane Broncos

May 27th, 17:30, Mclean Park

For our second leg of the multi we dive into the Warriors hosting the Broncos. The Broncos have been unbelievable this year, but this week they will be a completely different side. The Broncos are losing Haas, Walsh, Cobbo, Carrigan and Flegler to Origin while the Warriors lose nobody. Brisbane are coming off a grueling game against the Panthers while the Warriors will be well rested, having had the bye last week, giving them an extra week to prepare for this game.

Teams coming off the bye are 7-4 this year and the Warriors have a 3-1 record when playing in New Zealand this year. All signs point to a comfortable Warriors victory and that’s why I am taking the Warriors to win @1.44 on Bet365.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canberra Raiders

May 27th, 19:35, Accor Stadium

For Our final leg of the multi we look at the Rabbitohs hosting the Raiders. Both sides had a week to forget last week, with the Rabbitohs being upset by the Eels while the Raiders were thrashed by the Sea Eagles. The Rabbitohs sit on top of the ladder, largely thanks to the brilliance of Latrell Mitchell who has scored 9 tries and set up 8 this season. He will of course be lining up for the Blues alongside fellow teammate Cameron Murray, facing off against their teammate Jai Arrow. The Raiders are without second row pairing Elliot Whitehead and Hudson Young due to suspension and Origin selection. While these are no doubt big losses, they pale in comparison to the Rabbitohs’ losses.

I think Souths really struggle with a weakened forward pack and losing their star man Latrell Mitchell. They will have a completely new game plan, with new combinations while the Raiders will play their usual game just with new second rowers. The Raiders have been playing great footy this season and I think they should be good enough to get across the line against Souths. I am taking Raiders to win @2.15 on BoomBet
