The NBA Finals are finally here as the Indiana Pacers are on the road against the heavily favoured Oklahoma City Thunder for game one. Each team has a deep rotation with plenty of players who are capable of making a real difference. Today, we’re looking for the MVP to do what he does best and score 30 or more, Pascal Siakam to score 18+, and Lu Dort to hit two or more threes for OKC.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is looking to become the first player since Stephen Curry in 2015 to win MVP and an NBA championship in the same season. He was phenomenal all year, and the playoffs have been no different, so we aren’t expecting the Finals to change anything for him.
He is one of the deadliest and most consistent scorers the NBA has seen in years, making 30 point games his norm throughout the season. In the playoffs, he has scored 30 in 11 of 16 games, and seven of his last eight.
With all due respect to Indiana, Minnesota was better equipped to deal with SGA defensively and he torched them in four of their five games. We like him to come out the gates looking to assert himself and score 30+ in game one at $1.36 on Betright.

Pascal Siakam is the only member of the Pacers rotation with real NBA Finals experience. As a young, up and coming star, he flanked Kawhi Leonard in Toronto en route to a championship. Now, as one of the veterans of this Pacers team, it’s his turn to be the leader.
Coming off an Eastern Conference Finals MVP, his confidence should be high. We expect Rick Carlisle to call his number early to try to help ease the rest of the team into the Finals. Given OKC’s hounding perimeter defense, Siakam may take a few more shots than usual, if Haliburton is having a difficult time getting loose.
He has gone for 30+ in three of his last five games, and has hit the 18 point mark in eight of ten. We’re taking his Finals experience into account with this and backing him for 18+ points at $1.48 on Betright.

Luguentz Dort is known far more for his hounding defense than his offensive game. However, he is not a complete liability on the offensive end of the floor, having hit over 40% of his threes this season.
The playoffs had been a much different picture for Dort however, as he lost his shooting touch. Thankfully, his defense kept him on the floor long enough to find it again, and he has done just that. Dort has hit two or more threes in three of his last four games.
With all the defensive attention that is sure to be given to SGA in game one, it’s safe to say Dort will get a few good looks. NBA tips suggest playing the numbers, which point towards Dort making those open looks. NBA betting sites are offering solid value here, and at $1.50 on Betright, we like this pick.
