After pure elation in the city that never sleeps following their second round victory over the Boston Celtics, the Knicks have fallen flat in the Eastern Conference Finals. They dropped the opening two games at home and now find themselves in a precarious situation heading to Indiana for game three.

This is essentially a must win for New York. They have shown us this postseason that when their backs are against a wall, they don’t back down, they come out swinging. We’re expecting that heart and determination to come through in game three.

Jalen Brunson carries a massive offensive burden for the Knicks. He’s their main initiator on almost every possession and often commands the attention of two or three defenders. He has played his role brilliantly this postseason and against Indiana he has upped his game to another level.

In games one and two, Brunson scored 43 and 36 points while shooting a combined 28/52 from the field. He’s getting pretty much everywhere he wants on the court and Indiana doesn’t have an answer for him. He’s too quick for Aaron Nesmith and Andrew Nembhard isn’t tall enough to affect his shot consistently.

We don’t see Indiana suddenly finding some magical formula to contain Brunson, so we’re picking him to again go for 30 or more. At $1.57 on Betright, the value is solid when added into a Same Game Multi.

Mikal Bridges cost the Knicks a lot when they traded for him this past offseason. And we are seeing why in the postseason. Although his offensive output has not always been the most consistent he has shown up in spades when his team needs him most. Today, they need him badly.

Bridges Has been scoring efficiently and consistently as of late. In his past five games, he’s gone for 15+ four times and has shot at or above 50% from the field on each occasion. Defensively, the Pacers have shown a willingness to give up the midrange fadeaway to Bridges, and he has hit it at a high clip.

NBA tips suggest following trends, and the trend as of late has been Bridges scoring 15 or more. As such, we’re taking Bridges for 15+ at $1.48 Betright and adding it to the Multi.
