There’s just one NBA game today, and it’s a big one. It’s game seven between Denver and Oklahoma City and we’ve got you set with a Same Game Multi. We think the point spread is too high, and like Denver to cover +8.5 in part to a 20+ point performance from Jamal Murray. For OKC, we’re betting on Jalen Williams to keep his solid playmaking going, and picking him for four or more assists.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets

Oklahoma City and Denver have treated fans to a classic, back-and-forth series that has had game seven written all over it from the first tip-off. NBA betting sites had the Thunder favoured to start the series, and again in game seven as OKC are 8.5 point favourites.
This simply feels like too many points to be giving a battle-hardened team like the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic and Denver have shown throughout this series that they are once again a championship calibre team and absolutely have what it takes to hang with and beat the 68 win Thunder.
Given that OKC has home court, we don’t want to test our luck with the moneyline here, but Denver +8.5 at $1.88 on PlayUp is a pick that we love as a starter for our Same Game Multi.

If the Nuggets are going to keep this game close as we believe they will, they will have to receive solid secondary scoring. We’re thinking that’s going to come from Jamal Murray.
Murray is an all-time playoff riser, owning the NBA’s best increase in PPG from the regular season to the postseason. He’s had an up and down playoffs thus far, but has scored 20+ in four of the six games against OKC, including each of the past two. As well, in the 11 elimination games he’s played in his career, he’s averaged 27.8 PPG.
NBA tips suggest leaning on historical play when making picks, and that’s exactly what we’re doing. Murray won’t be afraid of the moment and he typically rises to the occasion. At $1.50 on PlayUp to go over 19.5 points, we like the value on this.

Jalen Williams is OKC’s second in command. Aside from Shai, he’s their only other real on ball creator of offense. But, as many young players who are tasked with the role of running an offense do, he has struggled at times this postseason.
Williams’ touch has been off against Denver, as he has shot just 34% from the field in the series. However, he hasn’t let this throw off the rest of his game. He is still consistently generating good looks for OKC’s supporting cast which is highlighted by his ten assists in game six.
In the playoffs as a whole, he has yet to have a game with less than four assists. We’re looking for that trend to continue in game seven as we like Williams to go over 3.5 assists, which is at $1.26 on PlayUp.
