Phoenix Suns vs. Boston Celtics

April 5th, 10:30, TD Garden

The Celtics are rounding into form, going 14-2 since the beginning of March. Phoenix is in danger of missing the Play-In Tournament, currently standing one game out of the final spot.

The Suns will continue to be without Kevin Durant for the time being, making this contest seemingly out of reach. Phoenix has lost four in a row, including a 132-102 rout at the hands of these Celtics on 27 March.

Boston has gone 9-6 against the spread in their last 15 games. Phoenix is third-worst in the league ATS as a road underdog. Our NBA expert tip for this game is to check out the great 1.95 odds offered at Playup for Celtics -14.5 to cover. Be sure to check out our breakdown of the best new betting sites in Australia!

Phoenix Suns vs. Boston Celtics

April 5th, 10:30, TD Garden

While the Suns’ offense has predictably struggled without Durant, it’s their defense that is dead last in defensive rating over the last five games. That may explain the Over hitting in four of those five matchups.

Boston has been second to only Oklahoma City in offensive rating for the month of March. Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable but the rest of the Celtics should be on hand for this game.

A desperate Phoenix team should be pushing on offense as they try to catch up in the playoff race, but they likely won’t be able to stop Boston’s offensive prowess. It all sets up for our next NBA parlay pick, the Over hitting at 227.5, which you can get at excellent 1.90 odds at Betright.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. San Antonio Spurs

April 5th, 11:00, Frost Bank Center

The biggest threat to the Celtic reign in the East is featured in our other matchup for this weekend. The Cavs, who have struggled lately, play the Spurs, who are coming off an upset win over the undermanned Nuggets.

Cleveland’s defense has struggled recently, leading to just a 5-5 record in their last ten games. Their offense has still been fine, and they’ve seen the Over hit in seven of those ten contests.

San Antonio has surpassed the Over in four of their last five, all in losses. For the season, Cleveland leads the NBA in hitting the Over at 64.5%, while San Antonio is eight. The trends point to the Over 239.5 being the play in this one, and the 1.85 odds at Betfocus are pretty attractive.
