Multi Bet of the Weekend

Victorian Bookmakers are gearing up for a big Saturday. So, I've looked at 3 key races that I like the look of and have made a multi for you to enjoy at Rosehill. I think Firestorm at Rosehill can run well in Race 8. Meanwhile, in the 2nd multi leg, I'm backing Pericles to be in the mix in Race 9 at Rosehill. Les Vampires usually runs well in these conditions and should be solid bet in Race 10 at Rosehill. At Rosehill, the track has been rated a soft 6. Here is my multi of the day!

Rosehill R8: Firestorm (#9) - Place

For Saturday's racing, I think Firestorm is a good inclusion in multi-bets. Last-start winner, coming into this with confidence. Last time out, Firestorm competed over 1300m, placing 1st at Rosehill. Jumped from barrier 4, carried 54kg, and starting price of $7.50 odds. A tough starting position, but a good tempo could help offset it. Jockey Tyler Schiller will be in the saddle this Saturday. Has a great winning strike rate. This runner comes from the Chris Waller Stable. Every time it’s lined up at this trip of 1500m, it’s delivered - big danger again. This track is a favourite of Firestorm, and with a perfect record, it’s hard to see anything stopping her. Solid record at this track, winning 3 times from 3 runs. It’s a real chance to grab some value.

Rosehill R9: Pericles (#1) - Place

I like Pericles as a key player for Saturday’s multi bets at Rosehill. Last race didn’t result in a top-four finish, but signs of progress were evident. Pericles raced at Caulfield last start, covering 1400m and finishing 8th. Carried 59kg with Blake Shinn aboard. Track was good. Outside barriers can sometimes provide a smoother run than being stuck inside. James McDonald will guide Pericles and given their record, they’ll give the horse every chance to shine. Trainer James Cummings has given him the all clear to run on Saturday. At this venue, has a career record of 2-2-0, including 2 victories. One to watch, could put in a career-best effort.

Rosehill R10: Les Vampires (#12) - Place

Les Vampires comes off a competitive third-place effort last start, proving reliable. Last start performance, Les Vampires came 3rd over 1200m at Randwick. Carried 56kg, guided by Adam Hyeronimus, and started at $3.30. First start on soft ground, but the potential is there to handle it well. A good draw too, gets to run from the 3 Barrier. On Saturday, Adam Hyeronimus will be guiding Les Vampires. Known for their precision, this combination should perform well today. This runner has been expertly prepared by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott, known for bringing out the best in their horses. Yet to win at this trip (1400m) but capable of delivering a strong performance here.
