First up in the multi, Intervarsity should be on your radar this Saturday. Scored a strong victory last race. Last start, Intervarsity finished in the placings over 1400m at Tamworth on 09/03/2025. At Randwick, Love Poem should be a vital runner in multi-bets. Coming off a last-start win. Love Poem ran at Tauranga on 15/03/2025, finishing 1st in a 1200m event. Jockey Matthew Cartwright was aboard, carrying 55kg. Track was rated soft. A good starting gate that could give her the edge over the competition. In top form this Saturday, Jason Collett has a knack for getting the best out of their horses. Could be another winning run. Trainer S B Marsh has a reputation for getting the best out of horses like Love Poem. Can show mixed form, but has shown it can win. A sneaky chance.

Poison Chalice is included in the third leg of Saturday’s multi, I think he is expected to perform strongly. Stayed on well for fourth last start, showing plenty of fight. Last outing, Poison Chalice took on a 1600m race at Flemington and finished 4th. Carried 55kg, started at $31.00, and handled a good surface. This gate should give him the opportunity to dictate terms early on. Jockey Thomas Stockdale will be in the saddle this Saturday. Has a great winning strike rate. This runner comes from the P A Preusker Stable. Winless over 2000m so far, but could improve in the track conditions. Track form stacks up - could add another win here at Caulfield. Doesn’t win a lot so far but can surprise. If the race plays out right, it’ll be there at the finish.
