EPL Multi Bet of the Weekend

As we have for what has felt like months, we hit one leg of our EPL multi during the week courtesy of Leicester City’s complete inability to score a goal, but unfortunately our other two legs went down. We will look to bounce back with the second set of EPL multi tips for a week, a selection which – surprise surprise – once again includes Leicester City to fail to score. Take a look at the logic behind both that and the other two legs below.

West Ham vs Bournemouth

Sunday 6th of April, 1.00am AEDT, London Stadium

West Ham have been relatively competitive of late even if they do still find themselves sitting down in 16th position, with their dour game style yielding a handful of low scoring wins and a bunch of 1-0 losses. Bournemouth has been a reasonably high scoring team, but regardless of who they have played for some time now, West Ham games have not been high scoring. It has now been six consecutive games - and eight of their last nine – in which two goals or less have been scored, and yet the line has been set at 2.5 for this one – and with better value for the under than the over. That looks like a hard line to ignore, so we’re not going to, and hopefully kick off a winning multi with a low-scoring clash.

Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest

Sunday 6th of April, 3.30am AEDT, Villa Park

It’s been a tumultuous year for Marcus Rashford, but in his sixth game in his new colours during the week he finally found the back of the net. So will that spur the talented striker onto greater heights? For the sake of our EPL multi, we certainly hope so. There should be a few goals in this game, and with Rashford riding a wave of confidence and his teammates beginning to increasingly look for him, it would be no great surprise to see him score yet again. At close to $3 this looks like a nice way for us to continue our second multi of the week.

Leicester City vs Newcastle

Monday 7th of April, 6.00am AEDT, King Power Stadium

This one speaks for itself. Leicester City’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Man City during the week made it seven consecutive Premier League games without a goal, their aggregate during that time a ridiculous 0-20. Newcastle hasn’t been the stingiest team in the league this season, but they are still in the top ten in terms of least goals conceded and shouldn’t have too many problems preventing Leicester City from doing a whole lot of damage in this game. Somehow, even after more than two months without a goal, Leicester City is at comfortably better than even money to fail to score in this one, which looks like a great way to hopefully round out our multi.
