English Premier League Multi bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 28

After hitting a huge $19 EPL multi the week prior, we were unable to go back-to-back last week, with our trusty goalscorers in Mo Salah and Beto failing to find the back of the net, though our final $2.50 tip did hit with Leicester City again not scoring. They will be the last of our EPL multi tips for this weekend, hopefully bringing us home after strong results for Liverpool and Southampton against a couple of relegation candidates. Check out our reasoning below.

Sunday 9th of March, 2.00am AEDT, Anfield 

This one is probably going to get ugly for the visitors. It’s certainly the most lopsided matchup possible in this season’s EPL and one of the more lopsided in some time, with Liverpool far and away the best team in the league playing at home against far and away the worst team. Southampton have lost their last two games by four goals against good teams, but inferior ones to Liverpool, so the 2.5-goal handicap looks like it should be easy pickings for the Reds. With a bit of value coming later in our EPL multi, this looks like a nice way to kick things off.

Sunday 9th of March, 7.00am AEDT, Molineux Stadium

Wolverhampton and Everton are side by side in the EPL standings in 17th and 16th respectively, and if you were judging this one on that alone the close odds would be understandable. But while the Wolves have won a couple of games of late, they are still clearly among the bottom four in the league and will be severely hampered by the absence of Matheus Cunha in this game. Everton, meanwhile, has been playing a hell of a lot better than their position in the standings would suggest, and though they are still in 16th they are ten points clear of Wolverhampton and just one point behind the Spurs in 13th. With four wins and three draws against some very good teams in their last seven games, the visitors look like terrific value in this game.

Monday 10th of March, 1.00am AEDT, Stamford Bridge

This is not as much a bet for Chelsea as it is against Leicester City. Chelsea have actually been giving away a few goals of late, though they did manage a clean sheet last week, but with Leicester City’s complete inability to find the net they again look like good value with Australian betting sites to go goalless. It has now been four consecutive Premier League games harking back to late January since they scored a goal, which makes even money with BetRight look like a pretty good bet for them to again end the game without troubling the scorers.
