English Premier League Multi bet of the Weekend | Matchweek 25

Liverpool remains the team to beat in the Premier League, with Mo Salah continuing on his merry way as the league’s top scorer. He has been hitting the scoreboard far more often than not and got our ill-fated multi off to a great start with two of them last Matchweek, and as the old adage goes, why change a winning formula? Hopefully, this week’s multi is still alive come the Liverpool game, because prior to that we have what looks like a couple of good value bets to start it off. Take a look at all of our reasoning below.

Saturday 15th of February, 10.30pm AEDT, King Power Stadium

Kai Havertz is beginning to find a bit of goalkicking form. After scoring just five goals in his first 15 games of the season, the German scored in back-to-back games, missed a couple through illness and has since scored in two of his last four, making it goals in four of his last six overall. His form has coincided with a great run from the Gunners, and with a clash against Leicester City this weekend they look set for another convincing win. At close to $3 odds with some international betting sites, he looks like great value to kick off our multi.

Sunday 17th of February, 3.30am AEDT, Selhurst Park Stadium

Both Crystal Palace and Everton have found some nice form of late. Crystal Palace, in fact, has been a really reliable bet to score a goal for some time now, having found the back of the net at least once in 12 of their last 13 games. Everton have not been quite so reliable, but their surprise three-game winning streak prior to this week’s Wednesday night clash with Liverpool yielded an impressive eight goals. This game could very easily go either way, but regardless of the result, what looks likely is that both teams will give themselves plenty of scoring opportunity. With nearly even money on offer for them both to score, that looks like a good bet to hopefully keep our multi going into the final leg.

Monday 18th of February, 12.00am AEDT, Anfield

It might not sound that adventurous, but we’re going back to the well with Mo Salah. And why not? We jumped on him to score at better than even money against Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago, and he scored twice. That made it a run of goals in 13 of 16 Premier League games, but still he is at nearly even money to score here. Granted Liverpool have had a tough schedule; generally he plays a full game but perhaps there is some chance that he gets pulled early in this one, but if he does it will likely be because Liverpool is winning comfortably…in which case there is a good chance he has already scored. At nearly $2 to find the back of the net with most betting sites – with Unibet offering some of the best value – the league’s leading scorer looks like a good bet.
