AFL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Another major round of footy is on the cards in Round 7, including the ever-popular ANZAC Day closes. The Magpies and Lions are at the top of the ladder, with 20 points each. Meanwhile, we see the Eagles as the only team to not have a win on the board yet. I’ve gone through all the games and found you all a three-leg multi that I’m confident in. My free AFL multi tips have landed at MyBettingAustralia.

Collingwood Magpies vs Essendon Bombers

April 25, 3.20pm, MCG

ANZAC Day footy is back and this clash virtually always delivers. We see all players lift for this one and I’m expecting a fiery game. The Magpies come into this game on a five-game winning streak and while I expect they’ll win this one, I also think it will be close as well.

In a game like this, we usually see players stand up and this time out I think Jack Crisp will have a great game. On Friday, Crisp will play in his 244th straight game, which equals the record (with Jim Stynes) as the most consecutive games in history. Take Crisp to get 20+ disposals @ $1.65 with Bet365.

St Kilda Saints vs Brisbane Lions

April 26, 1.20pm, Marvel Stadium

The first game on Saturday sees the 12th-placed Saints up against the second-placed Lions. Both teams put in disappointing performances last time out, with the Saints going down 56-127 to the Bulldogs and the Lions going down 53-105 to the Magpies. I just can’t see the Lions going down like that two games in a row.

I expect a bounce-back performance here at Marvel Stadium and you can play it safe, taking the Lions on the head-to-head line, but I think this will be a statement performance to show everyone that their last game was a rare blimp. Take the Lions to cover the line which sits at -14.5 thanks to Betfocus @ $1.90.

GWS Giants vs Western Bulldogs

April 26, 7.35pm, Manuka Oval

AFL returns to Canberra for this Saturday night clash with the Giants up against the Bulldogs. The Giants are sitting in the top four while the Bulldogs are up into the top eight now. Both teams come into this clash with a 3-2 record across their last five matches.

The Giants were disappointing last time out, losing to the Crows 34-52 while the Bulldogs notched up a massive 127-56 win over the Saints. The Bulldogs will be without Sam Darcy for the rest of the season and the Giants look primed to take advantage. Take the Giants for the win with MidasBet @ $1.53.
