NRL Multi Bet of the Weekend

The NRL season is starting to take shape. The Rabbitohs will face the Bulldogs, both looking for a win, the Cowboys will aim to get back in the win column and the Knights and Warriors will battle it out in a tough affair. In this free multi, we're keeping it simple, backing the Rabbitohs and Cowboys to win as well as the either team 1-12 in the Knights Warriors game.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

April 7th, 16:05, Accor Stadium

The Rabbitohs will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Storm, continuing a disappointing start to the season. The Rabbitohs are now 2-3, sitting in 13th place on the ladder and will be desperate for a win, while the Bulldogs are in a far more comfortable 8th position.

Souths are the better side here and should be desperate for the win. They are without star try scorer Alex Johnston, but this is minor in comparison to the Bulldogs who are missing 11 regular first grade forwards and are applying for a special exemption to fill a full team. This Souths side is packed with experience and firepower across the park and should be far too good for a depleted Bulldogs. For this reason I am taking the Rabbitohs @1.36 on PlayUp.

North Queensland Cowboys vs Dolphins

April 7th, 20:00, Queensland Country Bank Stadium

The Dolphins were brought back to reality, being humbled by the Dragons in a 38-12 loss. While the Dolphins have definitely shown they are not going to be a pushover this season, I do think as the season continues, they will suffer from a lack of depth. They were already down a few players in Felise Kaufusi, Tesi Niu and O’Sullivan but have now lost Anthony Milford to a hamstring injury. Without 2 of their 3 first choice halves, I see their attack struggling. On the other hand the Cowboys are welcoming back Scott Drinkwater at fullback and we should see some free flowing attacking footy.

The Cowboys are the better outfit here and combined with the Dolphins inexperience in the halves, I think this should be a relatively comfortable win for them. I am taking the Cowboys to win @1.36 on Bet365

Newcastle Knights vs New Zealand Warriors

April 9th, 18:15, McDonald Jones Stadium

Both teams are coming off game of the season candidates last week. Not many gave the Knights a chance against a Manly outfit packed with attacking firepower, but on the back of their powerful wingers combining for 5 tries and 7-line breaks, the Knights earned a gutsy draw. The Warriors on the other hand surprised the Sharks, overcoming a 20-point deficit on the back of a vintage Shaun Johnson masterclass.

Both sides have shown they are no joke this season, with the Warriors sitting in 2nd place and the Knights picking up big wins without Kalyn Ponga. This one has all the ingredients to be a grueling, tight affair, with the 4 most recent encounters being decided by 8 points or less. I am backing either team by 1-12 @1.70 on Bet365.
