NRL Multi Bet of the Weekend

Round four of the NRL serves up some brilliant matches, with teams jostling for position a month into the competition. While there’s plenty of great watching to be had this weekend, why not make some money at the same time? Betting sites are offering healthy odds, and we’ve got the best multi bet to net yourself a 14x return if the Broncos, Dolphins and Warriors all get it done in round four.

Brisbane Broncos vs. North Queensland Cowboys

March 29th, 20:05 AEDT, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

What a change a month makes for the Broncos. Heading into the season, they were hot favourites at many NRL betting sites. Now, they’re without three of their best players and on the ropes already. Up against an unbeaten Cowboys team, Brisbane will have their work cut out for them if they’re to avoid going 1-3 to start the season.

We say the Broncos will get across the line in a tight, ugly match. Devoid of star playmakers, Brisbane are undeniably a lesser team. However, they still have plenty of calibre in their ranks, and playing in front of a home crowd, should sneak a win here.

Take them 1-12 at bookmaker bet365

Gold Coast Titans vs. Redcliffe Dolphins

March 30th, 19:35 AEDT, Cbus Super Stadium, Robina

The Gold Coast Titans have perhaps been the worst team of the competition so far. And that’s saying something, considering the Sharks were thrashed by the Tigers last weekend. Gold Coast have simply looked woeful, losing both of their opening matches against sides they should have beaten – the Bulldogs and Dragons. These losses weren’t close either, with margins of 24 and 32 points.

While the Dolphins are by no means the finished product, they’re a decent side and know how to score points. Given that bet365 pays 3.00 for a 13+ victory, we say they’ll rack up a cricket total, albeit perhaps a Netherlands vs. Australia type score.

New Zealand Warriors vs. Newcastle Knights

March 31st, 16:05 AEDT, Mount Smart Stadium, Auckland

New Zealand and Newcastle have stuttered so far in 2024. Both only got on the board with their first win of the season last weekend, having suffered tough last-minute losses in round two. This makes their round four clash a fascinating encounter, which could go either way.

Home crowd advantage and the winless monkey off their back leads us to favour the Warriors in this one. It’s a coin toss where they hit their straps and win comfortably or continue to grind out scrapy victories. Either way, back New Zealand to win at 1.42
