The NBA is heading into its All-Star Weekend, with teams battling for playoff positioning and vital momentum to lead into the break. The Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves are two such teams looking to move up and out of the middle of their respective conferences.

The Warriors hope to have saved their season by acquiring disgruntled Heat star Jimmy Butler, winning handily in their two games so far with him.

The Mavericks are under fire from seemingly everybody after trading away all-world franchise player Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis, only to lose him to injury indefinitely in his first game with the team.

To add to their troubles, they appear to be without a center for this game with Davis, Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively, and Dwight Powell all listed out with injury. Expect Butler and the Warriors to continue the honeymoon and take Golden State to cover against a depleted and down Mavs squad.
