16 became 8 last week in the NBA, with half of the sides who had fought so hard to make the playoffs, falling by the wayside. This is another huge week in the post-season, with so much at stake for every side left in the NBA Championship race and it is unmissable for all punters and NBA betting apps. The Boston Celtics will be looking to make a fast start against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as will Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks, whilst the New York Knicks hold a slender lead over the Indiana Pacers.

With 8 becoming 4 in the Eastern Conference, both the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers have moved closer to NBA Championship glory in 2024. For the Boston Celtics, the regular season has been a breeze, and they will be doing all they can to kick on over the playoff period here. For the Cleveland Cavaliers meanwhile, they showed real heart to overcome Orlando Magic last time out over 7 games and they will relish their status as underdogs here.

Over in the West, plenty of big results have gone down already in the playoffs and the stakes continue to rise across the remaining 4 sides. Oklahoma City Thunder have been hugely impressive this season, mixing it with the big boys throughout the campaign and they have approached the playoffs without fear. However, the Dallas Mavericks look to be in inspired form currently, fearing nobody and they could give Thunder the hurry up in this one.

There is a very different feeling about the New York Knicks this season and they look well placed to challenge for the NBA Championship in 2024 with plenty of punters and international betting sites. Lying in wait here though is a tricky test against the Indiana Pacers, the surprise package in the East, who simply do not know when they are beaten. This should be an excellent game and with the Knicks 1-0 up in the series, they could go two to the good in front of their home fans here.
